CA Human Resources Compliance Reviews (3)

Review: TODAY WE RECEIVED A "LABOR COMPLIANCE NOTICE" FROM CA HUMAN RESOURCES COMPLIANCE CLAIMING THAT WE NEEDED TO PAY A "FINAL NOTICE" FAILURE TO COMPLY FEE OF $114 WHICH IF WE DID NOT PAY WE WOULD BE SUBJECT TO FEES AND FINES BY THE STATE OF CAL AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. THE LETTER WAS SENT FROM A PO BOX AT THE UPS STORE WHICH IS IN THE SAME BUILDING AS THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA LABOR OFFICE AND THE NOTICE IS SENT TO GET COMPANIES TO PAY FOR A POSTER. IT IS A BUSINESS PRACTICE THAT ALMOST HAD MY HR DEPARTMENT PAY THE FEE TO AVOID A FINE BUT FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO CATCH THAT IT WAS A SCAM. PLEASE INVESTIGATE SO THEY CAN CEASE & DESIST SUCH DISGUSTING PRACTICES!Desired Settlement: THEY NEED TO ENSURE THEY IDENTIFY THAT THEY ARE NOT WITH A GOVERNMENT AGENCY AND THAT NO FINES WILL BE ASSESSED FOR NONPAYMENT OF THE FEE OR SOMETHING TO THAT AFFECT.

Dear [redacted]Be advised that California Human Resources Compliance (“CHRC”) vehemently disputes your accusation that CHRC is attempting to portray itself as a governmental entity in an effort to purposely mislead potential customers and the accusations set forth in the complaint filed by [redacted] (“**”), as there is absolutely no support for same. In fact, ** is not and has never been CHRC’s customer. CHRC’s business consists of selling state and federal notices that employees are required to post at their place of business. All of the representations in the mailings sent by CHRC to potential clients are true. There has never been any representation in any communications sent by CHRC that CHRC is a government entity or is acting on behalf of a governmental entity. Further, despite the unfounded allegations in the complaint filed by **, CHRC has never threatened or coerced any potential customer into buying its products. The fact that the marketing materials indicate that the failure of a business to comply with posting regulations can result in fines pursuant to applicable federal law is not a threat, but a true statement since the failure to comply with applicable labor law requirements can lead to a fine assessed against the violator. Therefore, while CHRC respects that SF does not wish to purchase CHRC’s products, CHRC does not appreciate SF’s attempt to strong-arm CHRC into changing its marketing practices, which based on its complaint, is **’s ultimate goal. Be advised that CHRC reserves the right to pursue any and all legal and equitable remedies against Revdex.com and SF for any damages sustained by CHRC based on any libelous statements regarding CHRC that may be disseminated by Revdex.com and/or SF, as well as any attorney’s fees and costs associated with same. Please feel free to contact our office should you have any additional questions regarding this matter. Sincerely, CA Human Resources Compliance

Review: I received a notice in the mail stating: important, open immediately... inside it stated there was a fee of $74 now due by my business for compliance documentation and posters that are free from the State of California. After researching the company that sent me this notice it is not a service provider of the state of California and it is misleading. For free signage regarding employment go to [redacted]Desired Settlement: Stop now [redacted]l already provides free.
