tried everything we could to stretch the insurance funds to do as much work as possible with out getting any money out of pocket. We were to bring the material with to the job because of its small size. In the end they just wanted the money back when we sent the first check out it never made...

it so we reissued a new one for them to pick up. We split the cancellation percent in half due to the confusion from 20 percent down to 10. It is written on the contract so it is not a surprise to anyone. We will refund the other 10 percent as well.

[redacted] and CAB Construction did an amazing job on my roof. They were friendly with great communication. They were on time and got the work done in a quick manner. They were very professional from the first phone call to the follow up conversations after the work was completed. They took time to explain what needed to be done and how the job went at the end. I will be using CAB Construction for any and everything needed on my house moving forward. I recommend them to anyone looking for siding, a new roof, or other weather damages that could have affected your home.

CAB Construction has put roofs and siding on our homes and garages. The work was done on time and we are satisfied with the quality of workmanship. They cleaned up after their work was done and everything was in order. We are satisfied and CAB Construction was easy to work with.

I just wanted to say that the guys from CAB Construction did a fantastic job in helping my throughout the process of of getting a new roof and siding from a hail storm that hit our home. They were friendly and prompt, the work was done in a very professional and timely matter. We had a couple of other companies come knock on our door and after reading their contracts they wanted us to pay them a ton of extra money, and when I talked with a guy from CAB he explained the whole insurance process and made it very easy for us to understand. I got a new roof and siding and their were no hidden costs all I had to pay was my deductible, then he offered me a lifetime warranty but was not to sure about it. At first I thought here comes the hidden fees but after he explained everything I am glad I bought the warranty. So for the $1000.00 I spent out of pocket I have a brand new roof and siding, Thank You CAB Construction

A storm had ripped some aluminum fascia from house. The damage was fairly minor but I called my insurance agent to advise. My agent gave me the name of a contractor to get an estimate on the damages. I called the contractor and left a voice mail. Two days later I still hadn’t received a return call. I contacted another local contractor and again, left a voice mail that was never returned.
Finally I advertised on a local Facebook page. Andy, the owner of CAB Construction, reached out to me. I told Andy I was going to give the last contractor one more day to call me. It never happened. I reached out to Andy at CAB Construction and he responded immediately. Andy told me he would have an estimator stop out at my earliest convenience. Jeff (the estimator) was right on schedule. Jeff covered everything with me… the repair details, the cost of repair, contract details and he removed the hanging fascia that was hitting the siding. The cost was about $200 lower than I expected. I scheduled the repair and the work was completed on time and the color match to existing fascia was excellent.
Andy and his team at CAB Construction delivered exactly like they said they would. I don’t feel like I should have to beg a contractor to take my money and returning a phone call is common courtesy. CAB Construction reached out to me and repaired my fascia and did at a very reasonable cost. I’m totally satisfied with my CAB Construction experience and would not only use them in the future but recommend them to anyone needing a roofing/siding contractor.

Review: Hi my name is [redacted]. I'm writing you because CAB Construction LLC has deducted 10% from a check that was given to my husband [redacted] and I without letting us know.

On March 21,2014 [redacted],a Rep from CAB Construction came knocking on my door at 3245 s 6th street milwaukee,Wi 53215. He claimed he was going house to house offering his company's roofing services. I told him I was not interested because I was not working but was going through disability. He asked if my husband was here and I told him no that he was working. He came the following day March 22,2014 and while I was sleeping(all my prescribed medications make me drowsy and very sleepy) he spoke to my husband and convinced him into going through with insurance in having the roof done since there was damage from previous storm. My husband did not want to but was talked to doing so. [redacted] had ONLY [redacted] sign an agreement and told him there was no obligation. On March 26 a [redacted] Claims Rep met with [redacted] for estimate on roof damage. After talking for awhile [redacted] was given a check in his name and mine([redacted] & [redacted]) After the claims rep left [redacted] stayed talking. My husband then comes upstairs where I was resting,after taking all my meds, and tells me to go downstairs with him because I needed to sign a check. I remember I told [redacted] I was not interested in doing half of the roof and he said not to worry about it that he was going to take good care of us. He was being very persistent and wouldnt leave until we signed and handed the check over to him. He told us to think about it and if anything to give him a call. On the 27th [redacted] gave him a call and told him we did not want to do the roof and that we wanted the check returned. He asked why and [redacted] told him we didnt have the money to do so and that his hours were lowered. [redacted] still was pushy and persistant in working something out and that he had to talk to his boss anyways. Our phone calls were avoided many times and finally a couple days later [redacted] answered and said that they can do a payment plan with us but we told him NO. We wanted the check back. He persisted again that for returning the check he had to talk to his boss and that he would call us back. They wouldnt call us back or pickup our phone calls. [redacted] called [redacted] Claims Department and explained to them what was going on but they told us that it was between us ([redacted] and I) and CAB Construction because state farm did not include their name on the check and that on their system it showed CAB Construction had already cashed the check on March 27(the same day [redacted] said we wanted our check back)[redacted] spoke to [redacted] again and he said he had good news;CAB construction was going to do the half of the roof without us having to pay the deductible of $1000 but that we had to wait because they were booked but that Again he would give us a call to let us know when they were going to start because to top it off the BAD weather was slowing them down. [redacted] called [redacted] a few days later and told him that they were going to start bringing the material over and leaving it in the yard because hopefully they were going to be able to start soon. We got tired of their lies and the LONG wait. We called various times and our calls were being ignored even after leaving messages for them to call us back. Months passed, and still no luck. On August 7th I told my husband to block number before calling [redacted]. So he did AND [redacted] answered the phone on August 7th at 3:35pm. [redacted] said that sorry it took so long that they never received material to bring over and that YES they were going mail check to us. [redacted] called their main office number on August 20th at 5:10pm and left a message about us not receiving check yet and to please return the call. No calls at All so I decided to block my number and call [redacted] on August 28th at 3pm. His voice was shaky and said the check was mailed 1 week ago and to call back on monday if not received so he can reissue another check. Of course monday was Labor Day so I had to wait until tuesday to call. On 9/2 at 4:40 pm I BLOCKED my number and called [redacted] again he said it would be mailed out today or tomorrow. I felt a little weird with his tone of voice so on September 4th at 1:20pm I called main office number (920)288-1387 and spoke to [redacted]'s boss I asked if check was mailed and he told me he was the underwritter and that he was out of town until monday. He said he will mail another check on monday and I proceeded in asking him address for picking check up instead of waiting for it. He gave me address with an attitude and I couldnt understand what he was saying but that he was Only going to be there from 9am-11am. He told me to UNBLOCK my phone number and to txt him so he can txt me back with company address. On monday September 8 I showed up at [redacted] at about 10:20am he already had the check in an envelope (with just [redacted] name on it)on his hand and as I walked in he threw it on the counter. I grabbed envelope and started opening infront of him as he started saying "oh by the way,we took 10% from check. I asked him why that we had told them from the beggining that we didnt want the service and he proceeded with saying that it was for the travel back and forth. I told him that we only saw [redacted] twice which the first time was when he was going house to house and second time was for the check. He said ,"well if you have a Problem with the 10% then I will see you in court. I then said well that's what's gonna have to be then because you are cheating us from our money. He said " I Guarantee I Have A Better Lawyer". I told him ok if you say so. And thats where the conversation ended. He had such a bad attitude with a smile on his face. He obviously knows that Im going through medical issues and disability so he talks to me like he's above and beyond. My father was with me the whole time and heard everything he said.

The original check that was given to [redacted] and I was for $2237.99 and the check that CAB gave to only [redacted] was for $2014.99

Please I will like for you to resolve this company's issue with their lying and keeping money from people unnecessarily. We were shorted $223 for no reason and without my name on agreement or the reps signature.Desired Settlement: Refund the remainder of $223 and have someone talk to them so their attitudes change and treat people better.

Rep failed to provide assistance and answer/return calls. Inappropriate behavior by personnel. Non delivery of product/service. Failure to honor money back when asked rightaway after agreement. Unauthorized agreement by one of the parties /no signature.
