While going to tan at this salon in mid May of 2014 I was spoken to very Inappropriately by an associate. I was embarrassed in front of others. While going to tan at this salon in mid May of 2014 I was spoken to very Inappropriately by an associate. Not only was I embarrassed in front of other customers at the desk, the associate proceeded to talk about me after I was sent to my room. After trying to get a hold of the manager/ owner to tell her what happened she didn't wish to hear about the situation or apologize for the associates behavior.Desired SettlementI would just like others to know how things are handled at this establishment. I would've really liked an apology from the associate and the owner. We have video surveillance in our salons, so I reviewed the tape from that day along with another employee. What the tape showed was that the worst thing the employee did was letting her wait a little too long. The employee was waiting on a new client, [redacted], the complainant, was waiting in the lobby talking on her phone. Another client walked in and as soon as she did, [redacted] stood up and interrupted the new client and told the employee to put her in a specific bed for 15 minutes. The employee complied. Another client in the lobby made a comment that we could not hear on the tape and the employee laughed and said something to the effect of 'it's just been one of those days'. Nothing more was said.When [redacted] came out of the tanning room and was leaving she stopped at the door, preventing another client from entering, and told the employee that she didn't appreciate being talked about.This happened on 5/12 and [redacted] has complained, harassed and threatened the employees at another location ever since.Here is the email I received from [redacted] and my reply:[redacted], this is [redacted] and I was wondering if you were going to respond to me regarding the unprofessionalism of one of your employees at the six forks store on Monday.Thanks,[redacted]XXXXXXXXXXMy reply:Actually, I did watch the tape from when you were in the salon. On the one side I agree that an inappropriate comment was made by the employee and I have spoken to her. I also saw that you were somewhat rude to her prior to going in the bed. When you came out and made a comment to her about her comment you cut off another client that was coming in the door.In the end I think everyone overreacted.That is all I have to say about this situation.
