It's and no one at this company knows how to properly communicate, even with cell phones and email at their disposalTheir administrator is great at acknowledging your attempts to communicate with them, but they sincerely lack when it comes to folland communicating properly what work they've done, what they're going to do and what yet needs to be doneI would never award work to this business ever again for any reason whatsoeverHaving my roof replaced has been a nightmare, and mostly due to the fact that they hire incompetent people to perform sensitive work on people's most valuable possession (their homes)

I purchased a home where AK Contracting (Calgary) was the contractor hired by the previous owners (through an insurance claim) to replace a hail damaged roofThe roofing company hired by this contractor failed to install a gooseneck dryer vent to vent the dryer out the roofThe hole was covered with the roof paper/shinglesThis contractor did not ensure the roofing company completed the job correctlyAlmost years later it was discovered by the current owner the vent was covered with shinglesDuring that length of time the dryer vent hose was accumulating moisture/water which I kept emptying and replacing the hoseThis situation could have been catastrophic if a fire startedI contacted this contractor and sadly he took a lax approach but installed the gooseneck ventIn my opinion, they lacked accountability for the seriousness of the issueMoisture had accumulating in the attic for years and there was a small leak in the ceiling, which in my opinion came from excessive moisture building upThey repaired this and repainted the ceiling but advised it was not due to an accumulation of excess moisture which I disagreeI requested they inspect the drywall due to the accumulation of moisture it became soft and brittleThey refused stating "we've done all that we can for you in this matter"Hope this review is helpful when you are deciding to hire this contractor
