Mrs. [redacted] allowed us into her home to complete the items on her list.
The drawer front requested replacement has been installed.
The door requested replacement has been installed.
The scribe mldg. requested reinstalled has been done.
The extra rubber door bumpers Mrs. [redacted] asked for were given to her by our man Jamie & also sent to her again direct from our [redacted] sales rep..
In several conversations with Mrs. [redacted], our bookkeeper [redacted] went over the invoice as it is itemized.  We do not do breakdowns other that how it is currently written. Mrs. [redacted] has elected not to travel to our Tempe office to meet with our bookkeeper and our bookkeeper cannot travel to Scottsdale to meet.  There is no more information we can provide for clarity other than what we did initially, so a visit is not needed as no more information is available.
Mrs. [redacted] received in freebies from C&F approximately 6 times the estimated value of the bookcases in question that she would like refunded. She did very well in her negotiating overall.
Her refund requested was rejected by [redacted] rep. [redacted] Higgins as the cabinets are custom & non-cancellable & non-refundable as our paperwork states.  [redacted] reiterated this with Mrs. [redacted] in a phone call to her.

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for your inquiry.
We have attached for your review, our signed & accepted quote for Mrs. [redacted] from February of 2014, our invoice for Mrs. [redacted] from same date, our signed & accepted quote from May of 2014 in same format as...

before with Mrs. [redacted]'s adds, and all Mrs. [redacted]'s signed drawings.
As you can see from our detailed paperwork that we price per project, not per modular part.  [redacted]'s cabinets are full custom.  They are not a list of parts individually priced as we have explained to [redacted] in depth.
The manufacturer does not produce pricing programs for printouts such as Mrs. [redacted] wishes.  [redacted] produced recently, a modular quote of 10 modular cabinets and accessories she has from 1999 from another manufacturer, as justification for why we and our manufacturer should produce a like list.  Had [redacted] asked for itemized pricing at the time of ordering, she could have elected not to order with us, when we could not comply.
It is not reasonable to order, re-order, accept delivery, accept installation, and accept warranty service,  & only afterwards demand breakdowns we cannot produce.  Her invoice has breakdown for product, add-ons, labor and sales tax.  That is the limit of ours and our manufacturer's programs' capability.  The manufacturer simply does not price like a modular cabinet company.  Her kitchen was priced per drawing entered on CAD program software written by the manufacturer.
I do not believe there is any current law or legislation pending with the State of Arizona, Maricopa county, or the city of Scottsdale, requiring that C&F provide break downs beyond what we have given.
To file a complaint against that business when it cannot comply is simply not reasonable.
[redacted]'s project is complete, everything ordered was received per scaled detailed drawings & invoice, and warranty work is done.  Her project is beautiful.  The contractor, the architect, and the subs who graced her home with their hard work all did a great job. Anyone who wants to contact me, I would be happy to give a referral for any subcontractor who worked in [redacted]'s home.
Since [redacted] has taken this step to file a complaint with Revdex.com, I have informed [redacted], our bookkeeper, that no further response is needed.  This is the only response I can offer.  I consider the matter closed.
Sincerely,

Review: Dear Ms. [redacted],

I am requesting a price per item invoice for each cabinet, each group of knobs and each group of pulls which is standard business practice. Please respond as soon as

possible as I need specific cost per item for my records.

I had requested a second meeting with Ms. [redacted], QP/Officer on Tuesday, August 21, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss her corporation's book keeping practice of "bundling." She related that you took care of all corporate book keeping.

Ms. [redacted], we have secured a date and time, September 16, 2014 at 10:00 p.m., but the Tempe location is more than an hour's drive for me. I am requesting that you mail a corrected invoice before September 16th to my home. I have enclosed an example of a cabinet order from a company in Phoenix although it is dated May 4, 1999.

I am confident that you can produce a similar invoice for my records.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a price per item invoice for each cabinet, each group of knobs and each group of pulls which is standard business practice. Please respond as soon as

possible as I need specific cost per item for my records.

Review: I am very unhappy that Cabinets by C & F company collected the money for installation but abruptly stopped the installation without my knowledge or consent.

I would like them to complete the installation at-least majority of it by Dec27th. Original completion date was Dec14th.

They are giving me hard time by not responding to my requests in reasonable time-frame. They are giving me the run around.Desired Settlement: I would like them to address the following items by Dec27th

1)Hallway Cabinet door installation

2) My order form for Pantry precisely states no Stiles. pantry upper cabinet has stiles.

3)Install hardware (Pull-outs) on all cabinet doors

Response:

I met this customer in the showroom, at [redacted]’s desk, multiple times while they were working on the drawings for the project. Apparently I did not introduce myself as the owner, as she

was not aware the person she had visited with, was the owner. I was looking in on she & [redacted] as they were working. She discovered this only after the complaint was filed & saw my name.

Apparently my casual conversation in the showroom did not convey owner status. I called her at the phone number on the invoice this week. She was very courteous & kind, and gave me the time to

ask numerous questions about the level of service she feels she received. The salesperson she had, [redacted], started with C&F August 15th 2012. As you are aware Arizona was decimated by the

downturn, and a lot of professionals left the industry. We found the need to replace personnel lost in the downturn. We parted company with [redacted] March 15, 2013. This customer met [redacted]

in November, a mere 3 months into her work service at C&F. Unfortunately, this salesperson was not able to deliver the level of service this customer expected, and Cabinets by C&F is famous for.

This customer was not aware that [redacted]’s inadequacies were not representative of C&F & didn’t seek my help.

In our conversation this week, she did mention that she had asked Don in our showroom for assistance in bringing her project to close. When I asked Don why he would not have informed me

that this customer was asking for his assistance & refer her to me, he said the only time he spoke to her was when she called and asked for [redacted]. He didn’t recall ever having a conversation

beyond that. So communication was not good between myself and this customer in order to have avoided the frustration she was experiencing in her service work completion.

I did ask if the work was done. She said it was. I mentioned this open complaint & she is willing to close it and indicated to me that she would do so immediately.

I gained great insight from the conversation with her which will help me in the future. I found that perception is as important as other things in customer satisfaction.

Sincerely,

Cabinets by C&F
