In reference to the complaint on 01/28/
The customer brought the modified (lowered) Infinity Gin for brakes and tires
We replaced the worn tires with the exact same size that the car had on it and the rear brake pads, after which we test drove the car without Incident, rechecked our work and called customer for pick up
The customer *** left our shop happy and then when we arrived the next morning we had a message left on our answer machine accusing us of adjusting his suspension incorrectly causing the front left fender to be damaged
He later came by for myself to take a look at the car, I explained to *** (did not yell at him) that we just replace the tires with the exact size that was on the car, but the tires that were on the car were (extremely) worn and the car is very modified (lower) and that you'd have to be carefulI also told him that the suspension was not adjusted by us, that the damage was a result of the car being too low, and what he would like me to do, he left and said he would talk to me later
Several hours later a friend of the family called and inquired about the problem, which I explained and he agreed the modification of the car is what caused the tires to hit the fender
I did offer to give him his money back for the tires, and also talked to the grandmother and explained the circumstance that it was not what we did, but the fact that the car is modified
Since then *** has come by and told me it was not my fault and that he should of been more careful and that he went and had the suspension raised up, so that the tire don't rub on the fenders
We take our Customers Satisfaction very serious and we have never received a complaint and although this complaint made it pass our Intention we are very concerned and sympathetic and we would like nothing more than our customers satisfaction even though this is unfortunate situation that we had no control over, we will do our best in the future to make it more clear or not to offer our services to customer with modified vehicles as to better serve our customers

Review: we took our vehicle to gary at cabot auto service and had new rear brakes and 4 new tires put on.when we backed our car out of the driveway the new tires bent up our front right quarter panel.we had just had our car's body straightened out and every dent taken out and then painted. now we have to deal with this. when we contacted gary on january 30, 2014,(in the morning) he was yelling at my teenage son and did nothing to rectify the problem.Desired Settlement: my mom had to put this car work on her discover card and we are going to have to dispute it there, too. we want our money back for the tires and want to return the tires because they are not right for the car.
