This is a follow up to Complaint ID [redacted] Business representative (owner?) said he would refund my money - "Will be happy to refund money to customer will send check in mail asap." It has been days since I agreed to that offer - again, refer to [redacted] but this business still has not sent the refundI believe days exceeds "...asap." I believe I have dealt with this man in a positive manner, but it appears he does not honor his word I just want a refund of my money paid for shoddy workmanship and damage to my home What would be my next step? Should I get my lawyers involved?

Kitchen sink backed up - also affected Laundry Called this firm & rep came out, evaluated the situation and appeared to have cleared the problem at the same visitBut the camera scoping did not work because of an alleged turn in the drain pipe, so the rep suggested - and I agreed to - jetting the drains from the roof vent and then scoping the drain system with the camera a few days laterIn the interim there was still water on the Kitchen and Bathroom floorsThe rep suggested I "watch it" for a while I cannot do plumbing, so I pay a licensed plumber for his knowledge and abilities - which were unfortunately lacking in this case I had to get my Homeowners Insurance involvedThey did not want to use this same company, so they hired their own plumbers to reevaluate the problemThey discovered Cactus Rooter had not cleared the drains, but rather had put a hole in the drain pipeThe jetting just exacerbated the problemThe Camera scoping did not show the damageThe Drain p

I just want a refund of my money paid for shoddy workmanship and damage to my home.

What would be my next step? Should I get my lawyers involved?Desired Settlement: It has been a month and a half since Pablo created the damage and I requested a settlement - to which he agreed.

It has now also been another 11 days since he again promised to refund my money as a result of your intervention.

I just want my refund. I think that is not asking too much. I want the refund in my bank account by Friday 02/26/16 - so I need to have the check in my hand before that date.

I had to get my Homeowners Insurance involved. They did not want to use this same company, so they hired their own plumbers to reevaluate the problem. They discovered Cactus Rooter had not cleared the drains, but rather had put a hole in the drain pipe. The jetting just exacerbated the problem. The Camera scoping did not show the damage. The Drain pipes still had to be cleared. Cactus Rooter created over $4000.00 damage and left me without a working kitchen through the Christmas and New Years holiday weeks.

I contacted the company and asked that they adjust the charges since they did not correct the problem. I asked the company to refund $400 of the $633 they had charged me - the firm rep agreed to do so.

After a month and 3 follow up emails the refund has still not been given.

I thought I was being fair - after all the company did not fix the problem but instead created a much bigger, more involved issue - and the rep agreed to the refund...Desired Settlement: Insomuch as this company has shown a blatant lack of knowledge of their job and a callous lack of respect for their profession, their clients and their word, I am now asking for a refund of the total amount ($633.00) that I paid to this company
