My family and I, a party of 6 ate at this restaurant on November 9, 2013. Several hours after consuming this food, everyone got sick with food poisoning symptoms. We were unable to pin point the exact item we ate that resulted in our sickness as we all shared everything that was ordered. I left a message for the owner on November 11 and after not receiving a call back from him, I contacted my credit company and filed a dispute. A representative from my credit card company contacted the owner who claimed he did not receive my initial message and said he would call me immediate. The owner did call me, I explained to him what happened, he stated he would look into the issue and call me back. As of today, I have yet to hear back from him. My credit card company called the owner again 4 days after he was supposed to follow up with me and they were told that they owner tried calling me but the phone number was incorrect. A message was once again left for him and once again, I have not heard back him. The one time the owner spoke to me, he asked if he had talked to me about a month ago which made me believe that this is not the first time a customer had walked away with food poisoning.Product_Or_Service: DinnerDesired SettlementI would like the owner to refund me the money I spent at his restaurant because it is unacceptable to get a customer sick and then refuse to contact them in an attempt to rectify the situation. We had never had a Revdex.com complain in 14 years in business prior to this incident. In the night of this dispute, we served more than 90 other customers with no issues. Due to the time passed ** this issue, we will immediately refund this customer credit card transaction. In addition, we will issue a $50 Gift Certificate to compensate this customer. The gift card will be available to be pick-up at our Downtown Springfield location's register at her convenience.
