When making a purchase with your debit card, our processor will pre-authorize a temporary charge of 20% of the totaL This Pre-Authorization is temporaryWhen the actual credit card charge is :final, you are only responsible for what you signed for on the actual receiptThis takes l to business
days for a transaction to be completedThis is also stated on the bottom of your credit card receipt when you signI have enclosed a copy of what is.stated on the bottom of each credit card receipt
We would gladly explain to the customer this process if he had called that morning as it is still listed as a pending charge on Monday April 14, On Tuesday, April 15th the charge would be final with the exact amount he signed for, $We would have pointed out to read the bottom print on his credit card receipt which explains this processThis would've avoided any confusion this customer may have had, and we wouldn't have been accused of theft of $We would've also pointed out that the customer could've called his order in ahead of time and it would've been ready for him to pick up at his designated time We cook our food to order when order is received, therefore every item is made fresh
Cafe Riviera has been established for years and is the longest independent tenant at Concord Mall We have high standards that we must adhere to We have an excellent reputation with our customers and always are available to answer any questions, or concerns which may arise

Review: I went in to Cafe Riviera yesterday 4/13/2014 and ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a hi-point fruit punch for take out. I was on my break so I only had about 30 minutes to order and eat. Besides the fact that it took about 25 minutes for my food to be done and besides the fact that it was not that great, I was charged $12.02 for it all and left NO TIP because I ordered take out instead of dining in. I signed my reciept slip and agreed to the charge of $12.02. Im normally not one to complain so I left and went back to work. I woke up today and checked my debit card records to find that I have a charge from Cafe Riviera for $14.64, how could this be possible in a state with no sales tax, not leaving a tip, and not ordering anything extra? I am very disappointed in the dishonesty and blatant theft from the employees here.Desired Settlement: If this issue is not settled in a matter appropriate, I will most definately pursue legal action.

We cook our food to order when order is received, therefore every item is made fresh.
