Calfo Contracting

Was given three appointment times and all resulted in no show no phone call. Placed three phone messages with no return call. This left a 92 yr old man with no heat for over a week until I could secure another company for service.

My furnace went down in the middle of the night; the next morning I called Calfo Contracting and they were able to schedule me with a first appointment that same morning. Being ill, I really appreciated the quick response. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Review: I was having issues with my furnace in the Fall of 2015. I had been referred to Calfo. 10/9/2015 Tim came to my home for a service call. He immediately ripped the wiring out of my furnace, making it unusable. He later told me I would need significant work done to get the furnace up and running. For over 6 weeks, I made at least one call a week to follow up on an estimate for either a new furnace/or repairs. At this point it was November 2015, I had no working furnace and winter coming. I had to remind Amy, the office manager, numerous times who I was and what I was waiting for. I still have yet to receive a quote for a new furnace and/or repairs. I eventually got feed up with waiting and couldn't last any longer without heat. I had a new furnace installed, by a different company in December 2015.

Last week, almost three months later, I received an $85 bill from Calfo Contracting, with my name/information incorrect. I cannot express enough how disappointed I am in the complete lack of customer service. I never thought I would have to beg a company to do a job for me that was ultimately a few thousand dollar job! The lack of concern, during the winter months, for someone without heat of any kind, is disgraceful. I will never recommend this business for anything. Despicable service.Desired Settlement: I wish to have no further contact with this business and will NOT pay the $85 bill.

01/18/2016This is in response to The Revdex.com complaint with the assigned IDof [redacted].A technician was at the customer’s residence on October 9, 2015 for a furnace call.The technician onsite noticed the furnace could not be repaired; and advised thecustomer to call the office for a quote for a new furnace if interested. CalfoContracting never received one phone call regarding the customer’s interest in aquote for a new furnace. Two follow-up phone calls were made to the customer; atthat which went unreturned. After two months of not hearing from the customer; abill was sent out for $85.00 for the initial call out fee.Calfo Contracting
