Review: my vehicle broke down sat. April 19 2014 at [redacted] on [redacted]. AAA towed vehicle Mon. April 21, 2014 to California Ave. Auto Repair ( I don't know the whole name) it is located next door to [redacted] on [redacted], [redacted] area. No work was done on my car for 2 months, then some work started such as a new or used starter. I had an accident in October 2013 that smashed the front of the vehicle hood, a 2003 Saturn L200. The owner of said company stated that a used hood came in damaged and had to be sent back and wait for a new one. He never gave me an estimate on anything and has never completed the work on my car, which he said needed rear brakes, a lock pin, a lightbulb, a muffler repair in order to pass inspection along with a used hood replacement. He is a mechanic and does not do body repair, however, he said he has a guy that does body work for him. They have had my car now for 5 months!! it makes no sense and I am at my wits end! I have lost my weekend supplementary job because it required the use of my car, I am behind in rent, I have lost my spring and summer by not being able to drive anywhere albeit visit my ageing parents and or visit friends, and my daughter got up every morning for 3 months at 4 a.m. to see that her mother without a car could get to her Lifeguarding job at [redacted] to open the pool at 5 a.m. weekdays. There is no bus service that early. I would sometimes get a ride from another person and I even hitchhiked at least ten times to work at 4:30 in the morning...I was able to change my schedule somewhat and am now able to take the bus back and forth to work, but those are not the hours that I desire. I have approached this business man many times in person and on the phone and listened to his consistent lying saying my car is almost ready or it will be ready such and such..to no avail. The last two times I took the bus to this auto place I didnot find my car in his lot. This past week he was awayDesired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed and resolve this nightmare! I would like my vehicle back in satisfactory and timely working condition and I want a recompense settlement for suffering of loss of time, wages, and the luxury of owning and using my vehicle in normal fashion. Also want reimbursement for 5 months of car insurance I paid while not even having use of my auto. I had basic coverage the 5 months I paid and did not use my car was a waste. He can buy the car which also has 4 new tires.

Review: I took my car to this mechanic on August 25,2014, he still hasn't car and it's not fixed and he won't give me my car back. Every time I call him about my car, he said that it will be done late tonight or first thing in the morning. Tomorrow never comes and when I go to get my car, it disassembled so that I can't drive it off his lot.Desired Settlement: I just want my car back and all its pieces. I don't want him to repair it at all
