Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Pool Town and I came to an agreement that they would issue a refund check in the amount of $2,along with a $credit to be used in the store I would like to keep the complaint open until I receive the agreed amounts from Pool Town Please see the below Email below from Pool Town Hi ***! It was nice spending time with you this past Saturday even though I ended up with a cold As per our telephone conversation We have mutually agreed that Pool Town will issue a refund check in the amount of $plus issue a $credit to be used in the storeI am including a copy of this to Christos, Chris in Accounting and Carol, the VP of Arbitration at the Revdex.comThank you, Russ C President Pool Town, Inc Regards, [redacted] ***

I will provide Mrs [redacted] with a letter in the next few days stating what we can do for her as well as a written explanation of what the year warranty covers and doesn't cover

I think this complanit is a little late on it's arrivalWe currently have two installers at his home today 8/7/making the corrections he has asked forYou are more than welcome to verifiy this information with the customerWe are going to make whatever corrections he requested as long as it is possible Richard M***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There are factual inaccuracies to the story that can be refuted with email historyThey claim that the drawing shows a gap in the planned closet installationHowever, their installer was the one to identify the gap and tell me that it shouldn't be this wayFurthermore, the designer responded to my email and said "Thank you for the pictures - there is MUCH more of a gap than we would ever have left, even in a standard closet install It's obvious they made the drawers and boxes too small." Email traffic is attachedThe following installation to correct this problem, the installers once again came into my living room to let me know that they couldn't complete the installation because a mistake had been made when the shelving units were cut in the shopSo it seems that the intallers and salespeople are more than willing to admit where a mistake was made and offer to correct it, but California Closet's management is notThe second issue related to height I did identify this as a problem once they got both shelving units in place, after approving the drawingsThey sent someone out to my house to view this problem and immediately when they walked in the closet they saw the problem and agreed it was an issue that needed to be addressedOnce again, California Closet's staff was more than willing to admit they made a mistake, but their management is not willing to back them or the customer up The email traffic shows that they continually admitted to their mistakesHowever, it took too long to resolve and they are now refuting that they made any mistakesVerbally (and by email) I was told that they were going to offer me compensation for my troublesHowever, they did not like that I wrote a factually acurate [redacted] review that gave them star and later called to tell me that they were rescinding their offer of compensation due to the poor review It seems that a company would want to hear criticisms and complaints to know how to better improve the services they provide and enhance their bottom lineUnfortunately, that doesn't seem to to be the case (especially after reading the [redacted] reviews and seeing that so many customers had a similar experience with California Closets)The installers and sales staff at California Closets have been nothing but helpful, forthright, and honestThe management is another story Regards, [redacted] ***

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , although not a resolution, (because the project has yet to be completed) at least I have the attention of Pool Town to ensure there are no more hurdles and the job will be completed to my satisfaction I will revisit this once project is deemed complete, and yard has been cleaned Regards, [redacted]

The contract to build an inground swimming pool for [redacted] was signed July 28, The pool was built in the spring of All the issues spelled out in the complaint have been addressed and resolved back in

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:During the design consultation in November 2013, my home was still under construction which the designer knew I had no idea what kinds of doors the builder would install and, therefore, could not notify the designer My requested resolution was 50% of the cost to replace the doors which is a reasonable compromise As for the pantry, I did contact the Office Manager vis voicemail, email, and communicated my concerns, a final time, to the installer on April 12th To date, no one has contacted me to resolve my dissatisfaction with my pantry I have already contacted a competitor to resolve the design with my pantryGiven the fact that I paid my bill, no one has bothered to follow up regarding correcting my pantry With regards to the designs, yes, I signed off on them with a general idea of what the final install would look like My purpose for hiring California Closets is because they are considered the experts and as such would guide their customers through a pleasant experience I did not have that and voicing my concerns, in accordance with their 100% satisfaction guarantee policy, still hasn't resolved my concerns Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Pool town came out in the beginning of march to open the poolI then waited for the concrete to be poured around the pool and on April 22,Sunday evening that another client cancelled for the 23rd and would I like it done and obviously I said yes and stayed home to meet the Subcontractor and I inquired as to how the next step would meaning (Waterfall) would proceed and he said he let's Pool Town know and they will schedule, so I left it at thatIf you read the documents it stated that the waterfall will have to wait days for concrete to cure and they will schedule the WaterfallI had to call Pool Town to get this scheduled and they sent me the Phone number for [redacted] the Waterfall ContractorOnly after I sent a complaint to the Revdex.com did a response occurI was out of the country during the attempted phone calls from Pool townFunny how when they call I am supposed to jumpI am still waiting for them to come and remove all the debris from my property that again according to the contract they are supposed to take with them and rough grade all the Ruts caused by their Equipment, but I fixed the Ruts because my granddaughter had fell in themI could go on and on at how it took almost a year for them to finish this project but I won't Regards, [redacted]

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I would like something in writing stating that Pool Town will fix my pool properlyI have agreed to pay $dollars for the new linerThe pool wall has buckled and it is not levelThe warranty is for years on the structure of the poolI certainly think the metal wall buckling would be included in the structureThe pool has been nothing but a problem from day Regards, [redacted]

Spoke to the customer yesterday and today We also had a technician work on the pool project yesterday to relocate the waterfall line as per customer's request The customer is meeting the owner of Pool Town tomorrow Wednesday at 6.00pm after he gets off work We hope to resolve any outstanding issues at that meeting

We sent out an independent diver to thoroughly inspect the pool liner for leaks and found none.Leak detection equipment was also used and again no leak was found[redacted] proceeded to pressure test the plumbing lines and found the all passed. So no leak was detected in the liner or the plumbing lines[redacted] winterized the pool on November 25.Left message with the customer today to contact me with any questions at : [redacted]

As the customer stated, we have corrected the problem more than one timeEven though it's not covered under the warrantyOur suggestion this last time being that the pool liner is close to its life expectancy was to give the customer a discounted price on a new linerAnd once the old liner is removed, we can do another repair at no cost to herWe feel that was a generous offer and it's unfortunate that the customer rejected it

We received the complaint on May 3rd.The waterfall was completed Friday May 4th.DHL Final was completed May 5th.I personally called the customer on May 4th, May 6th and May 9th at both phone numbers.Left message asking for a call backAs of now, Monday 9.30am May 15th, I did not get a response.Russ C [redacted] Pool Town, IncPresident [redacted] ***

The part that [redacted] has failed to explain is that the plans were agreed to in advance of any installationWe have all of our customers agree to the plans before they are put into productionThe plans clearly show a small space left and right of the cabinets we are installingThis was the first issue [redacted] did not likeSo we remade the units wider to fit without any space or fillers neededThen on the next visit we were told it was the wrong height, that she wanted them to be the same heightOnce again the plans clearly show the heights of the unitsFurthermore, it show the units were to be made at different heightsThis is how they were manufactured to be installedWe manufacture what is on the agreed plansI am attaching the plans as well as the contract to show what was originally ordered It was not that we would not change it for her we only needed to know exactly what she wanted so we could make a the changeAll of the changes could have been charged for under the contract agreementThat is not what we did nor did we ask her to do soWe were only trying to make her satisfied with her installationEach time the units would change height or width it requires us to remake the unitsThis only costs us more materials and wages to accomplish So, for a complaint to be filed for something we did not do and only tried to make it what she wanted, seems a bit lowWe have made both units wider and made both units the same size under the direction of [redacted] ***If she had only specified that was what she wanted initially we would not have had an issue I feel that a discount at this point is unwarrantedIf I believed we had actually done something wrong I would have been more than happy to offer some type if restitutionOnce again we were only trying to deliver what [redacted] said she wanted

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I would like the owner to come out and see the actual poolI do not think they realize the extent of the problems: the pool being extremely not level, cement has very noticeably dropped and the metal wall buckling in the same problem areaI would like a written document stating how they will correct the problem permanently and whenAlso, I want to make sure it clearly states that I am only liable for the $liner no matter what it takes to fix itI have been dealing with the problems with this pool for way too long I did try to get back in touch with ***, but I was told to email himI figured this was a better choice Regards, [redacted]

Just talked to [redacted] He wasn't aware that [redacted] filed a complaint with the Revdex.com[redacted] has been talking to Christos C [redacted] who is a member of our management team here at Pool TownWe are insured with [redacted] and our customers are provided with a summary page of our coverage for their records at the time the pool contract is signedAll our subcontractors also have to carry the same levels of coverage as well as naming Pool Town as additional insured in order to be able to do work for usAnd the excavator who worked at the [redacted] ' residence is not an exceptionSo this incident is taking its course and the complaint must have been filed due to a misunderstanding of what the procedures are that must be followedI would like to take this opportunity to express my understanding about the inconvenience we might have caused to Mr and Mrs [redacted] and their familyWe will stay on top of this claim in order to ensure that the process is expeditedBesides Christos, we also have Chris P [redacted] involvedMrP [redacted] is heading our financial and administrative department and is the person here working on the claim with our insurance company.I am always available and the best way to reach me if necessary is with an email to: [redacted] C [redacted] President,Pool Town, Inc

This is to confirm that Pool Town will do the following for Mrs [redacted] 's pool:Replace the liner at the reduced price of $plus taxFill in the area that settled underneath the liner at no cost to the customerRepair any steel wall that might have buckled at no cost to the customerRaise the level of the steel wall to make it level with the rest of the pool and raise the concrete patio in that section to bring that up to the level of the rest of the patioThis might require the concrete patio section to be replaced in which case the color will not match the existing colorAt no cost to the customerThe job will be started and complete in April of [redacted] co-ownerPool Town, Inc
