They were great the thing they measure with is very cool! I want oneHe was very knowledgeable about the carpetThe guys who installed the carpet were really niceIt so happend they came when my kids were getting out of school so I had children there the youngest is monthsHe kept wanting to walk in there while they were working and they didn't get upset at allI respect people who understand and have patience for kidsSo I give Empire a star they are amazing!!!??????????

I called for an apointment to Empire Today to fix ta treasho strip in the doorwayI asked a family member to be at the house on the day of the apointmentThe family member waited all day for the Empire Today to show upNo one called me to let me know that Empire Today would not be able to make the scheduled apointmentI called Empire Today to reschedule the apointment for the following weekI made sure that I would be off work for the new apointmentI waited hours for Empire Today to show up no one had shown or calledI called Empire Today and I was told that I was not again not schedule for an apoinment!

Extremely satisfying experienceThe sales rep was thorough and answered all my questions, the installers were fast and did a great jobCustomer service kept me updated of my appointment status every step of the wayAnd the price was definitely right

My experience with Empire Today was good The price was reasonable and I really love my carpet They installers called when they were on their way and arrived safely on a very snowy day My house was cleaned up after the install You would have never known they were here except for the extra carpet piece that was left I would recommend checking them out for your flooring needs

With Empire Today I have had the best laid carpet in my house since I have lived here they put in the carpet on a timely manor I have been telling everyone about my experience with Empire Today they moved my furnature and they took time in putting the carpet into my home I will tell all my friends where to get carpet that they put it in with no problem I like Empire Today they took the old carpet away and I didn't have to ask for their help in getting rid of the old for the new

We were very disappointed in the poor service we received from Empire They initially scheduled our installation for Saturday between and They called Saturday morning to tell us our installer would arrive between and This was after we rearranged our day for a 9-arrival When we had t h are from them by we called and were told the installer was on the wayBy we gave up and called to cancel At 8:pm the installer showed up and lied stating he tried to call us All prior calls were made on our cell phones He called our home phone However he called at 7:pm, which is was after we had called to cancel This happened in Rowlett TXVery disappointed in this level of service When I called to cancel the CSR didn't apologize for the inconvenience or show compassion at all

I'm very upset with this company, I paid to have carpet installed in my home and received a confirmation from this company stating that the carpet would be installed Saturday December 19th, I received a call from them that Saturday morning that they wouldn't be able to install my carpet as they had plannedI was told they would come Tuesday December 22nd, I had to take off from work which was a huge inconvenience for me causing me to lose moneyThey came Tuesday but did not complete the job, and I had to take off again Wednesday the 23rdThis is very unprofessional and inconsiderate to say the leastIf you take a customers money, then the service should be provided as agreed uponMy house is a total wreck , having to box up things and move things around, this has been very emotionally & physically disturbing for myself and my familyI wanted to have my house looking nice & neat for Christmas and due to the unprofessional behavior of this company that isn't going to happen!

We were extremely satisfied with Empire Today regarding the purchase of a carpet and the installation

Stay away from this company at all costsThey are a complete waste of time and a fraud!! They came to my house and promised me next day delivery after I picked a product The next day, they called and said that the product was not available and were not sure when it would be Then, they tried to switch me to another carpet, which I refusedThen, I tried to cancel the contract, which was near impossible to do A total of calls - (1) call 1: after I told them I wanted to cancel, I was put on hold for minutes and eventually hung up; (2) call 2: I told them about call and then the line was disconnected; (3) call - finally reached someone "who tried to keep my business" but couldn't even give me anything official that he had cancelled my order I asked for an email confirmation, but no can-do All he can do is give a confirmation # (what good is that if there was a dispute in court) It seems like this is a routine part of Empire's strategy, to make promises that they can't delivery on I turned to [redacted] and saw many had the exact same experience This company lied to get business and should be sanctioned

Their advertisement is completely false! We had estimate done according to their ad, $per room on select flooring just pay for installation and padding We picked a select flooring and for sq ft estimate was $14,000! $1,sq ft ? That's better be some dang good installation for that priceDon't waste your time on these people

I've had Empire Today do my downstairs carpeting (May 2014), upstairs carpeting (October 2014), and had to a bedroom and hall last month (Oct 2015) because of a petI wouldn't hesitate to have them back again and would recommend them to friends

I will be using Empire for all my future flooring needs

Carpet Installer Picked up man on street corner to help move my furniture when installing carpet, also carpet installer ruined my new paint job had done prior to carpet installedCarpet installer also cut my cable wires in one roomWhen I contacted the CEO Keith [redacted] of the company twice, I was told I said the job was done wellTheir installation manager doesn't talk to customers, nor does their customer service manager, working in the media, as long as I have I wonder if the compliments this company has gotten on this website were given by the family and friends and family of the managementThose types of advertising scams do rally existHopefully soon they will get their undercover news, (either print or broadcast) investigationwith the Revdex.com giving them an a+ rating the Revdex.com should also get an undercover investigation as wellCopies of this complaint are being sent to news media reps

I had an extremely negative experience with this companyWe set up our consultation, and at that time we were told the next install date was weeks outWe booked that date and paid a deposit on the spotWe then got an email the week of the install saying we needed to call them to confirm the installation dateWe called and confirmed, and we told that the installers would call us between 7:30am and 8:00am to give us the window of arrival timeWe run a business as independent contractors, we cleared the whole day for this and turned down work to be hereWe are literally losing money staying home waiting The morning of the install we woke up, moved all of our furniture out of our bedroom, and no phone callWe waited hours and called customer service, at that point we were told the installer can't make it and they're finding another installerWe wait MORE HOURS, no phone callWe call back, the installer can't make it, someone else might be finished in time to install later in the dayWe wait another hour, call back, and no installers can make it, but maybe there is someone available the next dayI'm put on hold for minutes, have to hang up and call back so that I can talk to someone, and when I finally do get a person on the line the next install date is the following Tuesday! We won't be in town, and have jobs booked for the next two weeks, but they want us to cancel our plans, lose out on more work, and wait around hoping this time they will actually follow through with the jobHow can you trust a company that cancels with no notice, and doesn't even honor their own confirmation?!?! THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCEDDO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

On 6/15/we had a representative come out to give us a quote on carpet for our house We decided to go with Empire Today and below are the issues we encountered with company The total amount of the job came to $5600.00, so we gave Empire a check for $and were going to finance the remaining $ The sales representative called in our check information to someone while sitting at house The next day when we checked our bank account and Empire ran the entire amount of $through and drained our bank account At that point, we put a stop payment on the checkWhen we called Empire we were told someone from accounting would call us backThe next day (Friday) nobody from Empire had called us back, so we called their number and demanded to speak to someone to get this resolved It wasn't until late Friday afternoon until the funds were showing pending in our account Not sure if the funds were showing because we put a stop payment on the bank or if Empire Today did something Not really sure, since nobody really was able to help us Not to mention, we had plans to go away for the weekend, but since we had no money in our account, we had to cancel The day of the installation, we got a call from a Collection Agency regarding the $we owe Empire So we had to explain the entire situation to them and why Needless to say, we are battling this in hopes it does not hit our credit report This is still not 100% resolved as of 6/29/ Mid-day during the installation process, the carpet installers inform us they do not have enough carpet for the office and closets and that those rooms were not on their layout of the house They showed us the layout of the house and sure enough, it was not complete We reached out to our representative and her boss Nick to let them of the situation and were told there were pages and of the pages must not have gone through Well at this point, you cant believe a word they say All I can say is, thankfully more carpet was delivered that afternoon This has been by far the worst experience ever dealing with a company!! The entire time we had been in contact with our sale rep and her boss, Nick Her boss Nick said when everything is settled, give me a call and he would see what he could do for us We have left Nick voicemail's and he has yet to return our call We have even reached out to the number and the girl we spoke to Jasmine, was extremely rude and unapologetic It is almost like Nick was saying what he needed to say to keep the sale, but when it was all said and done....he was done as well!!

I scheduled an in-home estimate for Febon Feb On FebI received an email and phone call both confirming the appointment On Feb22, no one showed up and no one called (they were supposed to be there between & am) At 11:I called and was put on hold while they called the person who was supposed to show up Apparently, he was running behind and then decided to just not show up at all since he was running late and this would cause all of his appointments to be late I rescheduled for the next day between & Again, no one showed up I'm not sure how people cal trust this company to show up an install flooring when their sales people take it upon themselves to decide not to show up at all for estimates I am beyond livid at this point and will be taking my business elsewhere, as I suggest ever other single person out there does I understand life happens and things come up, but for two days in a row to be a no call no show is completely unacceptable No idea how they are still in business with those practices

This is my second reviewThe first was on 8-16-this is now 8-26-Finally someone came to inspect the problems with the carpet last weekHe said it was installed incorrectly and it needed to be replacedHe took new measurements and sent them to the guy in chargeHe called once to let us know that he received the information and would be in contactWell, again, nothingWe had an appointment today for replacementThey did not show upWhen Empire contacted the ones who were supposed to be here, they said they finished the jobWell, since we have both been here all day, babysitting the phone and waiting and waiting for them to show up, Then I think I am pretty sure that they did not complete a job at this addressWe finally got through to someone at Empire AGAIN..They said, "Well we can not tell you when someone will show up"So frustratedNever have I dealt with a company like thisEveryone you talk to always says, "I don't know"I was even hung up on a couple timesI hope this SECOND review gets somewhere so this issue can be resolved once and for all so I can leave the house without sitting to wait on a phone call

Here is a company that likes to waste your timeI am in the Dayton Ohio area but there is NOT a Revdex.com page for them so I will vent my frustration hereThis morning I had an appointment between 9am-11am to have someone come out and quote cost of replacing carpet with laminate at a commercial propertyThe premises is still empty and I had to organize time with the property managerSo, annoying enough that I have such a large window to sit in an empty office waiting in vain for someone to show up10am rolls aroundno oneSo I call the 1-numberThe person I spoke to said that the salesman would call me immediately and let me know an ETA10:nothingphone battery now starting to run on low so had to put down to reserve battery11:no phone call, no showSo I left, walking back to my other business (I am the sole owner of business and this was an expansionI really do not have time to sit around waiting in vain) phoning the 1-number times before I got someone on the phone againPlaced on hold and the person came back and told me that she could not reach the sales manager because he was in a meetingAs a business owner I HOPE THAT WHOEVER OWNS THIS BUSINESS gets a sense of how their business is being managed
