California Trailer & RV Sales, Incdid not provide California Department of Motor Vehicles with paperwork in a timely manner for Ms***'s purchase. I called and spoke with Ms*** on 03/22/and apologized and shared with her that our team has met, reviewed the
oversight and put a new process in place that will prevent this from happening again in the future I also explained to Ms*** that our team spoke with a Special Title Processing representative today at DMV and it was confirmed they received your paperwork on March 20, The representative also informed us that they process in calendar date order and they are currently working on items received on March 17, She went on to explain your paperwork should be processed no later than Tuesday, March 27, From that point, it takes 24-hours for it to process through their warehouse and the plates and registration information sent out to herWith that, she should have the plates and registration in her possession within two weeks from Tuesday, March 27, Lastly, we issued her a refund in the amount of $representing the Documentation Fee associated with the purchase of her recreational vehicleWe did so, as we did not process DMV documents within the required timeframe and thus a fee should not be assessed If I can be of assistance to you in the future, please contact me directly by calling my cell phone See attached copy of cover letter and refund check addressed and mailed to Ms*** regarding this matter. Thank you Sincerely, *** ***, CEOCALIFORNIA TRAILER & RV SALES, INC.Dealer #***

Good Morning: California Trailer & RV Sales are responding to the following rebuttal by *** ***:* A PDI was performed on the *** Avator - Work order attached showing PDI among other items replaced.* Extended Warranty was offered during contract signingCustomer stated the Extended Warranty was just too expensive. Extended Warranty was quoted at $5,- Contract has been attached.* The *** Avator was sold to the ***'s on 06/09/DMV was reported on 06/19/(well within the timeline allotted)Amount sent was to DMV was $due to and sent on 06/19/2017. DMV resent paperwork back and was received by California Trailer & RV on 08/28/requesting additional registration fees of $608.00. This amount was not the responsibility of California Trailer & RV as specified on the contract that the registration is an estimate. As a courtesy to our customer we offered to pay fees to DMVDMV was resubmitted 08/30/2017.- DMV Transmittal of Reg& Vehicle Control Log submittedPlease note that the customer has made it aware they have put over 5,miles on the motorhome after purchasing it from California Trailer & RV in which at the present time is now having issues that were not present at the time of purchase

I
am rejecting this response because: This business was negligent in providing adequate security for my trailer while it was in their possessionThis location is literally right next to a major interstate freeway and they have only a chain link fence on the freeway sideI spoke with another major rv repair facility on the same freeway and they have installed electric fencing all around their facility and that prior to installing this fencing, they paid for several break-ins at their facilityCA Trailer & RV has razor wire around "their" trailers but nothing but chain link where they put my trailer

The customer bought the motorhome as-is, and was offered an extended warranty at the time of purchase. Since the purchase the customer(s) have put over 5,on the motorhomeWe have been nothing but courteous and professional with the customer(s)

Here are the pictures as requested. Thanks, ***

I am rejecting this response because:A Pre-...

Delivery inspection was clearly not preformed on he motorhome as stated in our contract. If it was completed by a tech they would have caught the faulty slide and brought it our attention. We were told everything was in good working order upon pick up. We were never told about the option to purchase an extended contract. We are also still waiting on our registration tags from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Apparently, CA Trailer and RV has not completed the paper work on their end and submitted it along with our payment for registration. Our tags expired in June and DMV has no record of transfer of ownership.

I am rejecting this response because: I never received an invoice or estimate that shows their policy until I picked up the RV. They didn't even want to give me any paperwork when I picked it up until I repeatedly asked them.

I am rejecting this response because: I received my trailer back in worse condition than I left it in. The damage occurred on their property at the hands of their employees. The response from the business is untruthful and misrepresents the facts.

Per our policy we are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal property that is out of our control. We explained that to the customer when they came by to assess the damage. California Trailer will not cover any loss, and we advised the customer to contact their insurance company.

Trailers and RV discovered water intrusion in the unit. Due to the customer's work schedule he was unable to respond to our attempts. When the customer's wife came in she spoke to the General Manager and although she claims she was told that the dealership attempted to remove the decals of the unit, no such thing was ever said. In order to do such there would have to be an authorized work order signed by the customer. California Trailer and RV Sales does not EVER use pressure washers to clean units. All units are hand washed by the lot attendants. When the customer came in a little over a week later after his wife had came in he spoke to the same General Manager, in which the customer became very argumentative towards the issue and the cause of the damage. The customer was shown by the General Manager where the point of entry of where the water was coming in at which was caused by poor design on the manufacturers behalf and lack of customer maintenance . At this point the customer involved his insurance company, and according to the customer's insurance company he (customer) claimed that the damage had been caused by the use of a pressure washer. The General Manager showed the insurance adjuster what exactly had happened to the unit and at that point realized the customer was trying to be dishonest with his insurance carrier. It is very unfortunate that the customer fixed all the damage on the unit, however did not correct and fix the initial cause of the water intrusion causing damage, which could very well bring about the same damage that was fixed by the customer. Unfortunately this will be passed on to the next consumer that purchases this unit, since the intent of the customer is to sell the unit.

Review: In October 2015 I left my fifth wheel trailer with California Trailer & RV Sales for them to sell on consignment. I was contacted in early April and was told my fifth wheel had sustained water damage due to local storms. My wife met with a salesman a few days later and looked at the water damage which had came in through the corners of the slide outs 3 (slide outs). The salesman initially told my wife that the damage had happened during the last storm (approximately 2 weeks prior). When my wife pressed for more information the salesman stated it could have happened when the dealership attempted to remove some of the decals which were beginning to peel off. I met with the same salesman approximately 1 week after my wife did. The salesman told me a different story and showed me where the water came in at. The location he showed me had dry dirt which did not have any signs of moisture. Additionally when I was inspecting the rest of the fifth wheel I discovered it had never been cleaned. When I asked the salesman why the it had not been cleaned he stated they had began to clean it but discovered mice dropping so they stopped. When I asked when this occurred the salesman stated it was in January. I made arrangements and picked up the fifth wheel a few weeks later. I have since fixed all of the damaged wood, replaced the carpet and wood in one closet (complete replacement). California Trailer &RV Sales provided me an estimate for what they claimed caused the damage, this estimate did not include replacing the damaged trim and other wood or molded carpet. The estimate was $1900.00. once I had the fifth wheel at my residence I consulted a local rv repair shop about the damage and estimate. The repairman examined the estimate and my fifth wheel and determined the repairs that were claimed were not warranted and probably fraudulent. The repairs were also not consistent with the manufacturers recommendations.Desired Settlement: Downgrade with Revdex.com.

Refund of 950.00 to cover the cost of repairs and my time repairing the fifth wheel.
