Review: On 01-03-14 I was at Californian Dreams and purchased a new pair of shorts. I always wash new clothing before wearing it. I washed these shorts and after doing so I found that the seam had come loose in the threading. I have not even tried these shorts on yet. On 01-06-14 I returned to the store to exchange them for a new pair and the clerk refused to do so. She said since I had washed them that they would not take them back, instead she came out from behind the counter with a needle and thread? I asked for the owners name of which is [redacted]. Today 01-07-14 I chose to call and speak with Mr. [redacted] and he explained the same, that once they have been washed I cannot return them that I would need to send them to the manufacturer for a new pair. I'm disturbed that the store owner is laying this responsibility on y shoulders. Dickies Clothier is not my vendor, client and I have no relationship with them what so ever. This is a depiction of the level of service that is offered by this store. I have never, ever filed a complaint ever with any store. This store is a small example of service that is generally being rendered more and more often and I'm not laying down on it this time. Whatever measures I can I will legally take...Desired Settlement: My desired outcome would be to simply return these shorts to the store for a replacement pair of shorts. I'm not asking for a refund, simply a replacement.
