Review: Although my home phone number is on the national "Do Not Call List", I continue to receive many prerecorded, unsolicited telemarketing calls from this company. As the call only consists of a recording being played at me, there is no human to hear or respond to my repeated demands to "Put this number on your do not call list.", and no other effective way for me to demand that they stop harassing me.Desired Settlement: I want them to leave me alone. I want them to stop calling me. I want them to stop harassing me. I do not ever want to hear from them again.

I called the number back and followed the automated voice prompts to have myself removed from their list (multiple times, waiting the obligatory 72 hours for activation of the cancellation each time), only to continue receiving calls from the same number. I asked a representative to stop calling me. Each time my phone company rings my phone, they pay to lookup the caller ID information from a Database and ID4U have called many times, hang up.........no message ever.
I understand after searching the net, they get a small fee for calling that shows up on your monthly bill as "Card Services"

The customer was asked to stop using this caller id on March 08, 2013. Since that date it has not been reassigned to any new customer. If the caller id was used after that day they are referred to as a "rogue/spoofed" caller id. We have set the caller name to Marketing Fraud.

This company may want too say they are not responsible for these calls and have a simple fix on their website, which is not a site I would even know about, but the problem with that is they are anonymous calls with no caller ID. They are recordings or hang ups if I answer the phone and recordings don't leave messages if I do not answer the phone. I have received calls from(XXX)XXX XXXX,(XXX)XXX XXXX,(XXX) XXX XXXX,(XXX)XXX XXXX, (XXX)XXX XXXX, (XXX)XXX XXXX, (XXX) XXX XXXX, in one day with some calling more than once. All these numbers are identified on the reverse phone lookup internet site as belonging to this company and it is not only an invasion of my privacy, it is also harassing. My number is on the do not call registry which makes these calls illegal and while they feign innocence all the calls that can be traced to them are obvious telemarketers so I am assuming they sold my number to numerous companies who do not reveal their identity and that makes them responsible.

Review: I get 4-5 Phone calls per week from [redacted], my caller ID says the company name is CARD SERVICES which when I tracked down the phone number it belongs to...Callerid4u in Washington State. The calls have persisted over the last 12 months. Call is always the same, they want to lower my credit card interest rates . In the beginning I just hung up, in the last 6 months I answer the call, follow the instructions, and reach a live person. Once I have that person on the line I explain I am on the National DO NOT CALL LIST and they simply hang up. In the last 3 months they told me they would remove my phone number, never happened. If you call the number ([redacted]) back a recording says if you would like to have your number removed just press the 1 button, tried this for 2 months, never removed my number. I have reported this to the FTC as well and I am seeking a $2500 fine, each time I am called, against this company for violating the trade practices. I am trying to get a class action suit started with all of the other people that have complained about this company. A blog is being created to track down who is making these calls and get this whole disgusting practice stopped.Desired Settlement: FTC guidelines are $2500 minimum for each infraction.
