Mr*** purchased and financed a Mercury Marquis from us on 12-31-He was a good customer of ours and has paid his vehicle loan down to a balance of $He subsequently was involved in a accident in which the insurance company declared the vehicle a total loss and
offered a settlement of $to Camelback FinanceThat would pay off the loan and the insurance company would retain the salvaged vehicleThis was acceptable to us however the customer wanted to retain the vehicle and continue driving it.The insurance company placed a salvage value of $leaving $to pay off the loanThis is acceptable however the insurance company requires the title to be branded as salvage prior to releasing the check to Camelback Finance cannot place a lien on a salvage title nor can you register and drive a vehicle unless he repairs the vehicle and the state inspects the vehicle certifying a restored title statusTo resolve the issue the insurance company will issue a check for $and then another $once he pays off the vehicle and we provide a salvage title to themWe also elected to credit $or two payments towards his account and he will pay the remaining $at which time we will brand the title salvage and release it to the insurance company

I have worked with a Cynthia who has always been nothing but nice . Everyone else I have spoken to has been nothing but rude . I have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder and I have had to put $600 dollars in it to fix it so that I can continue driving . I just purchased this vehicle I believe on Feb 23rd of 2018. I was on leave without pay for the entire month of July and have been low on funds .My paymens would be current on my vehicle if I had not spent $600 with my mechanic which was my savings for my rent that I battled to pay almost getting evicted with new baby twins but instead it had to go on the vehicle . Under my hood where the fuse is located becuse my dashboard light and all the other lights inside the vehicle decided to go out , I had my mehanic check to see and upon checking with me standing next to him we found that 2 fuse boxes are missing and I only have one and the one that is there is rewired with tape and looks as if the engine was changed in the vehicle . Looks dinky to me and Like someone just threw it together to sale . And not just that but the same day I drove off with the vehicle lol the battery went completely out . And I had to find a way to the service department and in the middle of the rain in Frys parking lot had to ask 4 people before I found someone to jump me with cables to get the car cranked . Service did get me a battery so thank you . But it’s like the first day I had the car, that happened . And as for the work that I have gotten done equalling to $600 service has credit my account $200 which I was like okay whatever. Made a call today 7/31 because currently I am $360 past due and I have a $100 to pay toward the amount right now and I will not be getting money again until 2 weeks from right now due to me just going back to work on the 30th which I have told them multiple times throughout this month even before this day. Guy was so rude and also the account manger or holder not sure what she was . With the car most likely being a lemon with a lot of problems to come I would like to exchange this vehicle at least if not then please fix the truck. It’s already about $8000 dollars and honestly this truck only worth about $4000. But the fact that you tell me oh well I don’t know if we can give you more Time to come up with the rest . Like why not ? I’m not ignoring your calls , I am
Working with them trying to communicate to come To a resolution and I was still willing to pay despite the problems being wrong with the vehicle only asking for more time initially . I just hate it when people are so rude like you deal with people every day of your life . Learn some respect . I work in a call center myself and I treat all callers with respect . I know they have to do their job but let’s face it everyone has a hard time and if someone Is willing then that’s different .

This had nothing to do with my payment history, but,. the way in which the collection manager and her employees treat people on the phone. It doesn't surprise me that she denies telling me that they were going to repo my vehicle.
I'll continue to fulfill my obligation...

on the loan but I never have a vehicle that is financed through this company again because of the blatant disrespect they show their customers.

Dear Dispute Department:

It was a pleasure to speak to Mr. McCarthy on 06/15/2016 and assist him in resolving the credit bureau dispute he was inquiring
with our company. In the interest of our customer and as a good faith gesture we agreed to remove his account from reporting to Experian.

Mr. McCarthy and Camelback Finance have come to a mutual agreement to fix the issue and all parties are satisfied with this
decision. I would appreciate this dispute be closed as resolved and satisfied.

Thank you for the opportunity to review and resolve this matter.

Camelback finance is a money sucking business. They are liars and unethical. Every time a call is made to this business they talk down to you like you're a child and you can't comprehend what they are saying. They are extremely rude people and they must hate their job from the way they act on the phone. If I would have known how these people were I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A CAR FROM CAMELBACK!!!!! They call all the references I had to list on the contract, one week before my payment is even due so all eight people get their phones blown up every other week. It's annoying and extremely embarrassing when nothing is even due or going on. Camelback finance is the worst finance company I have ever delt with!!!!

We reached out to [redacted] on 08/25/2016 to advise him his account was 11days delinquent $195.00 accruing late fees with another payment on 08/28/2016. We apologize if there was any miscommunication with either party. Due to the misunderstanding his account has been transferred to management to handle in the future if needed. His account is at a current status at this time.

To avoid any misunderstanding or delinquency in the future we would suggest [redacted] takes advantage of our free recurring program.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond on this complaint.

Being behind on my bill does not give their reps the right to be disrespectful to customers. I will never purchase a car from Rocky's again because of the finance company they use and I'll make sure to tell my family, friends and anyone willing to listen to go somewhere else unless you like being talked down to.

Mr. [redacted] purchased and financed a 2000 Mercury Marquis from us on 12-31-2013. He was a good customer of ours and has paid his vehicle loan down to a balance of $1569.00.
He subsequently was involved in a accident in which the insurance company declared the vehicle a total loss and...

offered a settlement of $1836 to Camelback Finance. That would pay off the loan and the insurance company would retain the salvaged vehicle. This was acceptable to us however the customer wanted to retain the vehicle and continue driving it.The insurance company placed a salvage value of $210.00 leaving $1622 to pay off the loan. This is acceptable however the insurance company requires the title to be branded as salvage prior to releasing the check to Camelback Finance cannot place a lien on a salvage title nor can you register and drive a vehicle unless he repairs the vehicle and the state inspects the vehicle certifying a restored title status.
To resolve the issue the insurance company will issue a check for $813 and then another $813 once he pays off the vehicle and we provide a salvage title to them. We also elected to credit $320 or two payments towards his account and he will pay the remaining $449 at which time we will brand the title salvage and release it to the insurance company.
Thank you for letting us review and explain this matter, should you have any questions please contact us.
