Camp Coldbrook Golf & RV Resort

I made a reservation for Labor Day weekend. The girl who took my reservation never told me it was non-refundable. I called Coldbrook on 8/3 at 3:30 to make a reservation for 8/29-9/1. I spoke with[redacted]. She never stated that it was non-refundable for a holiday. That night, I was told be SEVERAL people that there have been several incidents including 2 stabbings, 2 shootings, etc. at that campground. I decided that it was not a safe place to bring my family. I called Coldbrook on 8/4 at 8:45 a.m. to cancel. I spoke to [redacted]. She stated that I could not get my money back due to the holiday non-refund policy. I explained that [redacted] never told me that it was non-refundable. She told me that [redacted], the [redacted] would call me back. I waited until that afternoon. I called again. Spoke with [redacted]. She said [redacted] would be back in 20 minutes and he would call me then. He never did. I then called: 8/5 (s/t [redacted]) and left another message. No call back. I called again on 8/6 & spoke with [redacted] who said it was [redacted]'s anniversary and he was out to dinner with his wife. He would call me back. Never did!On Thursday, 8/7 I called Coldbrook AGAIN! This time I spoke with [redacted] - the girl who originally took my reservation. She CONFIRMED that she NEVER explained the policy of it being non-refundable and that she was fairly new and didn't know about it. I asked her to please talk with [redacted] and have him call me back. HE NEVER DID! I then called Coldbrooks Corporate office which is Morgan RV Resorts. I spoke with[redacted]. She was going to have someone look in to this and call me back within 48 hours. No one ever did.I called TODAY (8/11) and spoke with [redacted]. She said that someone should be calling me this week. This is completely insane. I am asking for a refund of $120.99 which was charged to my account on 8/5 (the day after I told them I wanted to cancel). No one will call me back.
