Review: Campbell's FCU offers a $1000 Holiday loan to it's members every November. The only criteria for eligibility is to be a member in good standings, even if you currently owe on a loan. I have been in contact with the loan supervisor who assured me that I was indeed eligible for this loan. However, I was still denied the loan. When I inquired as to why I was denied I was told that my account was not in good standings and had not been in months, contrary to what I was told by the loan supervisor. When I asked why I was not informed of my status sooner, so that the issue could be resolved I was quickly told that it was not the responsibilty of the credit union to make sure members payments are set up correctly. But it was a Campbell's loan rep that set up the payments! I am being unfairly denied the loan because, their office is too understaffed to handle the influx of loan applications... and this admission is from a Campbell's manager's own admission.Desired Settlement: I would like my request reviewed again and it will prove that I have been in good standing with my loan payments, and am inded eligible to receeve another Holiday Loan. To date, Campbell's FCU has not provided me with any documentation or proof that my account was ever delinquent.
