Review: I purchased a 2014 Freightliner truck from Campbell Freightliner. The original date of the 2,000.00 downpayment was April 16, 2013 with [redacted] from Movers Supply Inc. and I was told to follow up with the contract and financing with [redacted] from Campbell Freightliner LLC in Edison NJ, and I would be able to have the truck in May. I contac[redacted] due to the delay in the contract and financing paperwork and on May 20th he emailed me as to the email he sent to [redacted] in reference to me wanting to finish up the paperwork and financing. On May 21, 2012 [redacted] emailed me and told me that he can send the contract out to me the next day and as soon as he receives it back the truck will be released for pick up in Raleigh NC and if I needed a Temp. plate he would provide one for me. I needed to send him my DL and Insurance card for the temp plate and I sent that info to him on May 23rd along with the contract, with my first payment due July 8, 2013. After signing the contract, I noticed that I was being charged an extra 1,000.00 for sales tax although I had signed a S10 form to be exempt for sales Tax. The contract was revised on June 7,2013 the contract and $13,000.00 bank ck was received by [redacted]. My son in law picked up the truck on June 15,2013 and the truck had no gas in it and almost got stranded just leaving the yard where the truck was stored.and brough to Charlotte NC for me to pick up to bring to OH. The title was sent to Ohio DMV instead of me and it was sent back to Campbell Freightliner. I called [redacted] and asked him to send the title to me in OH so I can get it registered with North American which is based in Minnesota and he told me he can only send to DMV. So now I have a payment due July 18 2013 on a 87,000.00 truck I cannot get registered and no Title to register the truck. I asked [redacted] to change the payment due date and he told me he could not do that.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the Title sent to me so I can register the truck and another temp tag sent so I can pick up the truck and bring to OH. I would also like th have the pament due date adjus[redacted] since the truck is not registered and I cannot utilize the truck to make any money for the payments on the truck. I mean after all Campbell Frightliner LLC has to know I do not have the title for the truck since it was sent back to them.

[redacted]’s Trucking refused to sign contracts with their address from North Carolina, because they did feel they should not have to pay the $1000 mandatory North Carolina sales tax, when they are tax exempt in the State of Ohio. At this point, we changed the contracts to their address in Ohio. The customer signed the revised contracts da[redacted] June 3, 2013. According to our franchise agreement with [redacted] cannot provide the customer with an MSO without flipping it into a Title first. Campbell Freightliner sent the unprocessed MSO to a Title Agency, as sta[redacted] in our dealer agreement and the Title Agency is dealing directly with Ohio Motor Vehicle. The Title is at the Motor Vehicle Agency already, which we sent through a Title Agency. In order for the Title to happen, the customer needs to provide an MC # which is Motor Carrier # for the State of Ohio. The customer provided one and it is not correct. The Agency has contact this customer and explained this to the customer that they will need to provide a correc[redacted] MC # before they can proceed with the title. At this point, until the customer can provide a correc[redacted] MC # the title work is at a standstill. Also, in regards to the Temp Tag, in the State of NJ, the dealership can only provide one temp tag to a nonresident. Also, Campbell Freightliner issued a $300 check for the fuel issue.
