I talked to the customer today and there was a change of address recently and that is why they didn't receive the refund check. [redacted] stopped by today and got the check. Thank you,Eric F[redacted]

In an effort to resolve this concern from [redacted] I would like to start by saying that I am deeply sorry for any misunderstanding that happened while working to help [redacted]. I can understand how frustrating it must have been for him to not get exactly what he wanted. I appreciate the feedback...

and would be more than willing to help him in the future with any of his automotive needs. As an authorized member of The Car Doctors I would like to offer him $[redacted] in store credit that can be redeemed for the purchase of a vehicle, service or repairs to make up for the time and checkout expense that he accrued after the negative reviews are removed or changed to reflect what really happened. Unfortunately we are not able to reverse the credit inquiry due to the fact that we do not have access to do so. We appreciate the feedback and hope that we can open up the lines of communication so we can resolve this in a way that is not public. Below is our response on Facebook and attached you will find my account of what happened and a breakdown of the complaint.Thank you,Eric F[redacted]The Car Doctors###-###-####Response on Facebook 2/11/2016: Thank you for your feedback! I’m so sorry that we were not able to make this purchase work for you and for all for the time and money you spent in the process. I can understand your frustration and concern and hope that you can take a moment to allow me to clarify and hopefully resolve this obvious misunderstanding. I know that you and I spent a lot of time over the phone Tuesday and we exchanged a lot of information in an effort to put this deal together and that must have been very upsetting when it didn’t work out. Please consider what happened from my perspective and try to understand that some deals just don’t work out because the numbers simply don’t work and I was doing my best to compile the numbers, plug them in and communicate the results.In the beginning of this process you wanted to know if it was possible to trade in your car toward the purchase of our Explorer and keep the payments a specific number because you wanted to know if it would be worth your time to come check our vehicle out. I then asked you for some information regarding your trade and asked you if you knew what your credit score was so that I could plug it into a payment calculator. Based on the credit information you gave me and a general description of your car (i.e. year, make, miles and model) I gave you a rough estimate of what your payment “could be” if you qualify for an 84 month term but wouldn’t know until after you I ran your credit and check out your trade-in. You told me that you wanted to have someone come test drive the vehicle and have it checked out before running credit and I agreed. After leaving your trade-in for me to check out and test driving our vehicle for what seemed like over an hour, you called me and told me to go ahead and run credit. After doing so, the credit score was not as high as you told me it was and the trade-in was not in the condition that was disclosed either. I talked to you about the challenges with the credit and my concerns with the trade-in value on your car and let you know that based on what I was seeing the payment was looking like it would be significantly higher and that it might require you to put money down to get the payments in the range that you wanted originally. Although the tires and overall condition of the trade-in were a concern, I explained in detail with you that the reason for the adjusted trade-in value was due to the fact that in order to make the deal work I would have to buy your trade for more than what similar vehicles with almost half the miles were listed for and that it didn’t make sense for either of us to proceed without my finance manager looking at it the next day. You then called me the next day and asked that I don’t pursue anymore finance options asked for my full name. When I asked you if there was anything else I can do to help you, you refused and the day after that you left this review.
