This place needs to be shut down , they're not genuine.
They have good vehicles by the looks .
They act nice while you are buying the vehicles. They act like they're doing you a favor!
Bought truck from them , the door was hit and it couldn't shut well . When driving it over 40mph the wind and cold air comes in .It's like the wind is open! Took the vehicle back to them and told them please see the issue and fix it , they refused and told me that can't do nothing about the broken door . I was mad but the manager's name is Nash , he's rude ,arrogant and ignorant. He has no customer service ethics. When I got tough on him and forced him go check the van ,he started calling me all nasty names motherf" and piece of sht"
I couldn't take t ,I had to call 911 for intervention. I felt so bad ,why would a company or dealer call me names like this ! Just listen to customers complains and help not fight the customer. I couldn't take in the pain ,
That's when I called the police. When the police came he agreed to fix the door and issue new temporary registration.
I had not received my registration for a month. I was driving on a temporary one and it was expired.
Thank God the police made him give me a new registration. Am still waiting for the actual one .
Please keep of this dealer shop .
They'll take advantage of you if you don't know.
Ask for carfax report on any vehicle you purchase.
Ask questions before you sign the contract.
What's on carfax and on the real vehicle don't March.
Be careful

This business is sketchy but you will get a car. They do whatever it takes to get you off the lot with a car even if it takes lying to say you make more than you do and even in some cases that you work at all. I was able to get a car without a license and anything else. They basically used my credit only, mind you I didn't even have a license yet and that's it....drove off the lot. The salesman Ravon R is great in helping with the scamming this lot does. He should be a lawyer at how cut throat he is. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you want sketchy business practices and possibly for your identity to be stolen go here.

I drove from PA 4 hours for the dealership because they told me they had they vehicle I wanted and it was in good condition. my brakes went out on my car so I drove it there using the E-brake so I can get a trade in... I waited in the lobby for 7 hours because the manager told me it needed a 'oil change and thats all.' when I got to finally see the car I noticed the windshield was cracked, the side mirror broken, radio didnt work. this aside, I couldnt drive my car home and they dealership knew this so I ended up buying it on good faith of the reviews on google and the word of the manager. What a fool I was! not only did it have the obvious problems, but when I took it to a local mechanic he told me it needs completely new exhaust system which alone costs me $1800! I paid 2.4k for the car plus my trade in, and the mechanic told me the cost of repairs would exceed 3k! I cant afford that. it will not pass registration in 2 months after I bought it and when I called the dealership to try and work something out they told me it was my fault for buying the vehicle and 'You are shady and I hope you sleep well at night.' I have detailed reports and photographs of everything wrong with the vehicle, within one month of the date of purchase, such as headlights out, dry rot tires, etc etc. I cant even drive the vehicle without being fumed out by the exhaust, let alone let my children ride in it! on top of it all, I never received my title and I have owned it for over a month! so now I ride dirty or do not go to work. I dont make alot of money, and I saved up what little money I make over the course of a year to pay for the car

On June 25, 2019 *** came into the Dealership Car2sell at 126 US 22 in Hillside New jersey. He purchased a 2001 Subaru Forester vin *** with 139,532 miles color Silver. *** Traded in a 2002 Honda Accord. At the time of sale *** signed a "Dealer's Representation of Title & Lien Satisfaction. The title was not given to *** the day of sale, but instead mailed out to him per his request on July 13, 2019, after not answering calls made to him to inform him that the title was ready for pickup. The customer was given a Temporary License Plate good for 30 days at a time at the time of sale to be able to drive until receiving the title to be able to create registration. One day *** called a few weeks after Car2sell mailed the title and asked of its whereabouts. Nash from Car2sell explained that according to the tracking number provided to ***, It had been delivered. *** seemed satisfied with the information and said something along the lines of not looking at the mail yet. It seems that maybe *** could not find the mail sent and delivered to his address, He called a while later and started complaining about the car and its "needed repair." The car was sold As Is as per New Jersey state lemon law. Documentation providing proof of title representation, Buyer's Guide with As Is statement, tracking info, temp plate info, and receipt of created label are available.

I bought a car from the dealer in question since the 1st of May and I did not received a title for the car and they keep hanging the pbone up on me after hours of waiting on hold

I brought a car from cars 2 sell back in August myself and the sellsperson signed the agreement after we agreed on the sells price. After the review. I then contacted my credit union who was financing the car. Myself along with Affinity Credit Union receive the contract/offer to buy agreement.
Affinity Credit Union agreed to the purchase price and a check was sent to the seller. Within about a week or I contacted Cars2sell about my new lincense plates. I was then told that they can release them because their computer made a error in the calculations and that it didn’t add in the dealer prep fees. On the original agreement the fees are on it for $995.00 but was not added into the total price.
I feel the error was on them and that it was there lost not the customer. Once you agreed to the contract and signed the contract and receive the money the deal is done. It’s was not fair or good business practice to come back to your client and hold there plates at ransom unit you receive the additional money. As I said before the error was on there part and they should had taken the lost do the malfunction of there computer software.

I purchased a vehicle on 1/20/18 from cars2sell while we were there the back light was not working they took it to the garage to fix to my surprise on the way home the same light was not working, the roof liner colapsed, the windows unable to open/shut I call the dealer that day/several days after my phone calls went around in circles. The salesman would answer n said he's not the one, I would call bk n the secretary told me u were just on the phone with him.. Then the Alternator, shocks, Springs, Sensirs, Starter, Heater, oil pressure switch all stop working. I contact the dealer who told me to take the car back for an exchange. I live 1.5/2 hrs away the car is not running therefore I'm unable to return it. I purchased all these parts so my son can get to college the car ran got about 2 mos now it sits by the roadside the mechanic looked at it and told us it needs head Gasket r possible a motor I speak with Paul who told me it's not guarantee but he will try to see if he can help me with a tow truck I've been trying to get a hold of him since Monday n he has not return any of my calls. I'm so frustrated as my child 1st car n hes unable attend college we live in a rural area its hard to get around without a vehicle to top it off I put 4 tires on costing almost $800.00 I have spend so much money on this car

I purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V SUV August 2nd and still don’t have my plates. Every time I call the say it’s still processing. So I would like to know what’s going on. As Of now I still don’t have them.

Car2Sell Response • Oct 09, 2018

To whom it may concern, This letter is to certify that Car2sell has addressed the issue on the complaints made by the customer, ***. Car2sell issued a second temporary plate to ensure that *** does not drive the car with an expired tag, and then put the customer in a rental at the company's expense for over a week and a half now. Customer continues to make threats and complaints directly and indirectly, but nothing is left for us to do but wait for the title to reach us from Motor vehicle. Motor Vehicle Comission of New Jersey sent a representative on the matter, and we Provided proof showing the order of the Title.

I am rejecting this response they are not telling the whole true. Motor vehicle commission department call me to tell me they have the tile and don’t know why it’s taking them a long time to apply the title. So come find out they don’t want to pay the repossess title charge. So they sold me a call they don’t even have ownership of. So that’s reason why they can’t registered the car and they can’t receive the title. I

I came to Car 2 Sell to test drive a used vehicle. I already had a pre-approved auto loan from my bank, which I told the salesman when he sat down to discuss and negotiate the price of the vehicle. I asked for a breakdown of the business's fees (for example "dealer fee", "delivery fee", etc.). The salesman and manager initially refused to provide a breakdown of their fees. Without mentioning it or asking for permission to run an inquiry into my credit, they submitted my social security number to their partner bank and ran my credit. When I asked why they ran my credit without my permission, the salesman said, "Well what did you think was happening?".

After running my credit without permission, the manager came back with the salesman. They again refused to provide a breakdown of their fees, but instead wrote down what my monthly payment would be if I took a loan out with their partner bank. I calculated the total cost of the monthly payment they provided with the length of the loan and the down payment they recommended. The total cost came out to over $10,000 more than the listed price of the vehicle. I asked for the APR their bank was offering, and the manager told me it was 13.9%. This APR was three times higher than the other bank loan I had already been approved for. The first and second time I asked, the manager refused to provide the name of their partner bank.

I did not end up purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. However, the unauthorized inquiry on my credit is negatively impacting my credit score/report, and I would like for that information to be removed. Furthermore, if this is a legitimate business, they should operate with transparency, and they should attain permission from customers before running their credit.

As per our phone conversation, I have attached proof of the credit application electronically signed by ***, authorizing us to run her credit after providing us with all her information including her social security number. How would our dealership be able to get all her personal information if she hadn't provided it herself? I understand that she wasn't satisfied with the price and fees that she was given but in order for us to know what her monthly payments would be, we would have to run her credit first and foremost. She was informed of this beforehand and had the option of choosing what she wanted to go forth it.

Car2Sell Response • Aug 08, 2018

Our dealership NEVER runs a customers credit without them providing us with their personal information and AGREEING to the electronic credit application themselves, after reviewing that their information was input correctly. Its unfortunate that *** misinterpreted what was told to her. Please take into consideration that we have never had this issue before with any of our many customersor a compliant like this put against us to the Revdex.com.

Customer Response • Aug 08, 2018

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

I was NOT informed that my credit would be run when I provided my personal information. As stated in my original complaint, I only knew that my credit was run AFTER Car 2 Sell made the inquiries. When I asked why my credit was run WITHOUT my knowledge or consent, I was told “What did you think was happening when you gave us your information?”. This is NOT the same as what was stated in the business’s response. Furhermore, the business never provided a document for me to sign to give my consent. This is why they have not provided one in their response.

Regards

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

I was NOT informed that my credit would be run. Legitimate dealerships require that a hard copy paper form be signed that states the customer authorizes their credit to be run. I was never verbally told this would happen. I also never received a form. Providing my information to the salesman was NOT consent for him to run my credit. Had he asked or provided me with a form to sign, I would have said “No.” I had no need for my credit to be run because I already had a pre-approved bank loan, which I communicated to the salesman. I never gave verbal or written permission for an inquiry to be run on my credit.
