Revdex.com:
I am not particularly satisfied with the business's responses, but I recognize that there is no further action that would be worth my time to pursue.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

According to our database, a job seeker signed up to careerco on 5/**/2016 with the phone number [redacted].   [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by...

the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

No portion of the information the business claims to have attached to my phone number is my information.  They do not seem to have made the least effort to verify the alleged registration, or this would been quickly flagged as either a frivolous or a malicious registration.Business's response neither apologizes nor gives any indication that my desire not to be contacted again will be honored.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I have been called 12 times from the phone number ###-###-####. When I return the phone call, I reach the college bound network or collegebound.net I do not know how they got my phone number, but I have called 6 times to inform them that I am not interested in their service and to please remove me from their list. I continue to receive calls from them and wish for them to stop immediately. They have called 3-4 times per day for the last 3 days. My phone number is registered with the National Do Not Call list. I have made collegebound.net aware (during a conversation with [redacted] on 6/**/13 as well as in previous conversations with other supervisors) that I am not interested and I do not want their phone calls. Additionally, I informed her that the fines for violating the Do Not Call list in the state of New York where they are located are $2000 per violation, and that FTC fines are $16000 dollars per violation.Desired Settlement: I wish to no longer receive calls from this company. If they do not immediately cease and desist I will aggressively pursue alternative action including requesting the FTC and Do Not Call registry impose fines based on multiple documented calls I have received and continue to receive.

Response:

Hello,

Review: I made the mistake of giving this company or one of its subsidiaries my information because I didn't want to be an [redacted] and figured it wouldn't be a big deal. Since then I've been harassed repeatedly with phone calls from schools and other companies affiliated with Collegebound, such as [redacted]. I've gotten 19 calls in the past 6 hours and they refuse to stop even though I repeatedly have asked the "reps" to remove all of my information from their databases. They even emailed my direct business email address, which I NEVER gave to them. I don't how they got it, but it's creepy as [redacted] Their tactics are CLEARLY beyond inappropriate need to stop immediately. This company is a complete scam.Desired Settlement: Seriously, this business and its affiliates need to stop contacting me. Remove all of my information and/or data regarding my information from all of your databases immediately. Do not EVER call me or email me again.

Review: What I thought was a internet job search engine turned out to be this business. They have my cell phone number and e-mail address. They called my cell phone and I asked the lady to delete my information and she assured me that I was no longer in their data base. A few hours later they called my cell phone twice. I told him that I was not interested and that I was now being harassed that my information should be out of their system, he assured me that he will put me on the no call list and yet my information is still in their data base and he said I may receive a few more phone calls. For one thing I do not do business with any company that has to hide behind a wall of deception and for the Revdex.com to rank this shady company high is a scam in itselfDesired Settlement: Stop pulling off deceptive advertising on the internet. Either your a company who helps students get college loans or your a scam artist who gets peoples information by misrepresenting yourself as a job search engine.

Review: I was offered an online application for work at [redacted]. After I gave my basic personal contact information I was sent to a follow-up URL that was obviously not [redacted], at which point I knew that I this was a hoax. I did not complete their application, but am now getting telephone calls at all hours of the day and night asking for more information, and trying to get me to enroll in schools that they seemingly have a stake in. I have asked them several times to not call me but they persist.Desired Settlement: Please warn them of this, I assume, illegal practice.
