purchased used/refurbished motor from Meineke on 2/23/for a Honda Civicused motor came with day warrantyon 2/23/put down deposit of $motor was delivered within 48-hours to Meineke and within a week period & car was fixedOn 5/12/, engine locked while my daughter was driving on N and car had to be towed back to MeinekeI personally went to the shop on morning of 5/13/( shop was closed at time car was delivered by tow truck), spoke with Manager and was assured that on 5/( next business day) a call would be placed for another motorconfirmed that we were MOST DEFINITELY WITHIN THE DAY WARRANTY, DESPITE CAUSE OF MOTOR FAILURE, AND THAT IT HAD TO BE REPLACED SINCE WITHIN ALLOWED TIME FRAME OF AS INDICATED WARRANTY Today is now 5/23/and after multiple attempts, car is still NOT fixed, no motor has been located for the vehicle ,and I have made MULTIPLE calls to inquire about the matter with no resolution or even an ETA of resolut
My vehicle was brought in for service on 2/29/because I was in need of a new battery and the check engine light came onMeineke ran a diagnostic test and found that needed a new battery and a crank position sensorThe manager stated the sensor is hard to get to on my vehicle and that the timing belt and engine would have to be taken off to get to the defective partThe job would require a few hours to completeI agreed to let the merchant complete the repair workMy husband went to pick the car up at 5:30pm and he paid for the service work and the merchant gave him the keysAs soon ad he started the car up he said the car sounded like a Mack Truck, the car wad vibrating and shaking as wellHe went back into Meineke to advise the service manager that the car didn't sound right and asked the manager to test drive the vehicle with himThe manager stated the car had been test driven but when he asked the mechanic he stated he drove the vehicle from the garage to the parking lot
Went to Meineke to have rear brakes checkedI was told that I did indeed needed rear brakesI was taken to my car, where they SHOWED me the work that needed to be CERAMIC PADS ($unit price with a $discount and a Lifetime warranty), REAR DISC BRAKE ROTORS ($BRAKE PAD LABOR ($110.00)I gave PERMISSION to do whatever work they needed to doTHREE MONTHS later, my brakes started squeaking and the car was reacting the way it was acting in DecemberI went back to Meineke on April 4, I was told that because I didn't get the CALIPER, I would need ANOTHER $BRAKE JOB! With the CALIPER (which I had already AUTHORIZED) $62.55!!!
