Review: Carpet & Floors did major work in our home between August & Sept. 2012. We noticed large humps in our carpet & the sealant on our Kitchen floors is peeling. May 2,2014 I called and spoke with our salesman Kevin K[redacted]. He said we may be out of warranty but because we did a lot of work with them he would see what he could do. On 5-6-14 I spoke with another salesman. He asked if we had waves in our carpet. I said yes. He also said they could fix it for a small fee. He would tell Kevin & Ray I called. On 5-7-14 I called and spoke to Kevin. He said they were trying to get the problem resolved. On 5-31-14 we went to the store & spoke with Kevin. He apologized that no one had contacted us. He said he had been in the hospital and he would have someone contact us. In June my husband spoke with Ray the manager and explained the issue. He said he was not aware of the issue and he would have someone contact us. A week later my husband called and spoke with Ray and was given a phone number for an installer. He set up an appointment for that Saturday. The installer never came or called. My husband called that Monday and spoke with Kevin. Kevin informed him that the carpet installer was no longer employed by them and it was out of his control. He stated Ray is the only one who could make the decision to fix the issue. I sent a message on their website where it states contact us. No one responded. I called [redacted] consumer affairs and was told that it was an installation issue. The carpet had not been stretched properly. They train them to use a machine but they cannot control what each store does after training. They said that you would not notice the waves & lumps in the carpet until after a year when the warranty is void. We spent a lot of money with Carpet and Floors Market Inc. (Kitchen floors, granite counter tops, hardwood & carpet and they treated us poorly. [redacted] consumer affairs stated that they would call on our behalf but they could not make them correct the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like Carpet and Floors to correct the installation issues with our carpet and kitchen floors. We have been in our home over 15 years with the same carpet when the house was built. We never had lumps and bumps until Carpet and Floors replaced our Carpet. We also did not have an issue with our original kitchen floors until Carpet and floors replaced it.
