No there was not a document that said id purchase a vehicle in perfect comdition. Its a used car, so it would’ve never been in perfect condition. My dispute is not if they sold me an “as is” car. My dispute was that they still owed me my 500$ of my deposit because they sold me a broken car and never...

once requested for any services as they claimed. Ive attached part of my contract. But for some reason this page doesnt have any of our signatures.

To Whom it May Concern:   We sold a 2005 [redacted] to [redacted] on 10/16/2017. I have included her contract and documentation for complaint. When we sold the car, we knew there was a seat belt sensor that needed to be replaced before she could drive the vehicle home.  She picked up the truck the following day after the sensor had been replaced. About a week later she complained that the vehicle was stalling. Even though this was an as is sale, we wanted to help her out as we do with our customers. She brought the truck by and the mechanic checked out the car, but could not verify the issue. A couple more weeks go by and she says the car stalled again. She again brings the car by, and the mechanic could not verify the issue. She then leaves with the car. A few days goes by and she then says she doesn’t feel safe driving the vehicle and wants her money back. We explain to her it is an as is sale. We do not refund money, we made a rare exception for her, we made the decision to refund her down payment for the loan, minus mileage at $.30 (1000 miles x.30= $300),  a mile and the labor we paid the mechanic for the 2 times of diagnosis ($130x2=$260)  where no problems were verified. She was notified that she would only be receiving $1440.45. There was no objection other then she wanted to see the breakdown of the difference. She told us that she would be at the lot at a certain time to return the car. I was trying to make sure I was here. But she arrived earlier than expected and I was not on site. She picked up the check from our office manager, but she was unaware the breakdown was right next to the check. The check was cashed same day and didn’t her back from her again. If she wasn’t happy with the results, she shouldn’t have cashed the check. The next time were heard from her is on 12/5/2017, that she wanted her other $500 and that if we didn’t give it to her she would file a complaint with Revdex.com. We will not be returning any other money as we have gone above what we needed to do in this situation. This customer has been to other dealerships and has done the same thing with them. Buy a car use for a few weeks, complains that it isn’t working and wants a refund. We were more than generous in offering what we did, as this was an as is sale, there was no warranty on the car and she should have been responsible for all repairs.
