Carter & Company Historic Wallpapers, LLC.

I ordered four different papers from Carter and Company when they were working in California. It took almost a year to receive these papers and I had to go through a friend/acquaintance of theirs to push the order through quicker. I had to pay full price up front before the order was printed...$10,000. I was a bit nervous, however these papers were also used in a number of state museums, so I figured this business to be reputable. I have discovered that they moved the business to VA and not sure if the business was sold and that explains some of the issues with no response to emails. There was another restoration paper company that offered fantastic quality papers and I will take that disappeared for a while but now that I have found them again, I will take my business there now as they have instock papers! Although the paper was quality, the anxiety of getting in delievered as promosed was not good for the health...or business!

Review: Carter & Company Historic Wallpapers does not appear to be in business, yet they have an active website and accept credit card payments, without delivering a product. While we were not, personally, burdened by loosing a small amount of money (only $15), we were surprised that the company was processing credit card payments. We ordered, online, 3 wallpaper samples. Our order went through with an email confirmation, but no samples were received. They do not have a working phone number. They do not have a working email address. Though both are listed on their website. We have chosen to report this incident as a warning to other potential consumers.Desired Settlement: We would hope the Revdex.com would look into this company.
