Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There has been no repairs to the duct work in the past and the drain issues still continue even after they were looked intoThe unit itself is rusted through as indicated in the attached inspection report with picturesThe manual J has been authorized to be released by the builder and it is the responsibility of the contractor to release it when requested by the inspection company in order to completed the hood flow testing of the unitPlease provide the manual J so the inspection report can be completed and we can resolve all issues with our HVAC system at the same time with your company Regards, [redacted]

The water heater was installed on 11/1/2011, when the home was constructed The home closed on 4/24/ Our records show that we did replace the gas valve on water #on 10/14/and we replaced the gas valve on water heater #on 2/10/ The replacement gas valves were provided by the manufacturer ( [redacted] ***) Both were installed at no charge to the homeowner Casa Mechanical's warranty period for MHI Homes is years parts & labor The manufacturer of the water heater is [redacted] *** Your builder chose this brand to be installed in your home We have not received any service requests for this this address, since the date of the last valve replacement (2/10/14) This house is way past the warranty period that Casa Mechanical provides, for MHI Homes As I stated on the phone to Ms [redacted] , I would recommend contacting the manufacturer of the water heater and file a service request with them The contact information is as follows: [redacted] Feel free to use my name, when contacting them [redacted]

On November 29, 2016, I filed a complaint, # ***, against Casa Mechanical in Round Rock, Texas The company responded on November 30, with an unsatisfactory resolution to me, and the complaint was closed On December 1, 2016, the company changed its tune and called to schedule the issue to be resolved On December 2, 2016, the company did come to my home and repair the problem I agreed to update my unsatisfactory response with Revdex.com on the matter Since the complaint has been closed, I am requesting that Revdex.com update the matter or re-open the complaint so that I may add that the company repaired the problem and the matter has been resolved to my satisfaction

Greetings!Casa Mechanical personnel, *** *** and two other men came to our home and evaluated the condition of the drain line on May 5th*** decided it would be best to tunnel under the house to the toilet drain line and install a new drain line to the septic tank or connect the new drain line to the existing septic lineI agreed with his proposal and explained the work would need to be scheduled for completion in early July when we return to the home*** understood and agreed to schedule the work at that time.At the present, we are waiting to hear back from Casa Mechanical about scheduling the repair work to begin July 6thSo far, we haven't received any confirmation from Casa that the repair will be done or begun on July 6thAt the present, the problem isn't resolved.Thanks for your help with this matter.*** ***

The manual J has been authorized to be released by the builder and it is the responsibility of the contractor to release it when requested by the inspection company in order to completed the hood flow testing of the unit. I am rejecting this response because:Casa Mechanical is responsible for the parts they use to perform repairs.  If the part is defective then the service provided to me is worthless.  The control valve used by Casa Mechanical is dangerously defective and consumer protection laws are not based upon "warranty time" but rather the time the consumer knew or should have known the part was defective.  I relied upon the professional expertise of Casa Mechanical because I am not a skilled in the plumbing or water heaters or gas leaks, etc.  Case Mechanical should have performed their due diligence upon installation to ensure there was not a gas leak.  Casa Mechanical simply failed in their work performance and used defective parts.  The parts are as much a responsibility of Casa Mechanical as the labor because my service was provided by them.  The service needs to be redone, appropriately, and Casa Mechanical can recover from whatever company supplied them the defective part.  That has nothing to do with me.

I am rejecting this response because:
The coils need to be replaced along with the rusted drain pain and the system needs to have a complete inspection due to the amount of damage that has been done. The hood flow test has already been completed by my inspector and like I have previously stated numerous times the manual J will need to be released to them before we move forward on allowing you to complete your own hood flow test so that I can provide you with their results for comparison. The duct work needs to be completed and fixed along with everything else previously listed. Due to already making contact with your company on numerous occasions with negative results I am requesting that you put me in contact with a [redacted] who will schedule all the work to be completed at the same time and will be present when it is completed to ensure that your employees actually do the work that is needed. I do not have the time anymore to allow for multiple visits to do different jobs at my house. If it was done correctly and honestly during the multiple visits over the past 6 months we would not have even gotten to this point. Once the above requests are agreed upon and completed I will withdraw my Revdex.com complaint.

Labor, from the time of closing on the property.  Again, this house is 4 years old and is well out of the initial warranty.  Any further issues with the water heater will need be addressed with the Manufacturer.  Casa Mechanical will no longer offer any warranties on the parts or labor.
