I am rejecting this response because: Our complaint was with the price, not the work. When my husband called to set-up the appointment, we were told that there would be a dispatch fee and that half of it would be applied if we decided to have the work done. He was not told the amount of the fee, i.e. $188, during the initial call. When the plumber arrived, we were told it would be $330 to identify the problem. At this point, we are already out the $188 for the dispatch fee so we agreed to the $330, or additional $236. Once the problem was identified (shower strainer and P-trap needed to be replaced), we agreed to have the work done since we were already out over $400. Our total bill was $1,059 which did not include drying the wet area in the ceiling (quote was $1K) or repairing the hole in the ceiling that the plumber cut to do the work. Again, our complaint is with the pricing and how they lure you in at each stage which we perceive as unethical, not with the work performed.
