Review: I took my boat in for routine service and to install a fish finder on July 16, They claimed that they performed a tune up,changed oil, etcOn August 1st I launched my boat in the water and there was definately something wrongThe motor was shaking so bad that it kept wanting to die on meI pulled the boat in one of the slips and asked one of the mechanics at the marina to check it out and they couldnt believe that we just had it servicedIt was making very strange noises and shaking really badHow can they claim they serviced it when it was returned to us in this conditionThey obviously didn't start the motor after they serviced itWe had just taken it out on the lake on July 13th and the boat ran perfectly fine, no issues with the motorAlso, when we turned on the stereo, you can hear the engine sounds through the speakerThis obviously did not happen beforeThey wired something incorrectly and the fish finder didn't even workTHEY OBVIOUSLY DID NOT CHECK THEIR WORK BEFORE GIVING THE BOAT BACK TO US BUT DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM TAKING OUR MONEYI believe this is really bad business practiceHow can you perform a service and not check it before giving it back to the customer? We brought our boat in perfect running condition and received it back in non-running conditionWe paid lots of money for a vacation at the lake and ended up having to rent a boat for two days because of this and the boat is now at a different mechanic because I will not take it back to this incompetenceNot only did we have to pay C&C Marine $but we now have to pay another mechanic for their screw up and we have to take it to a stereo place to fix the poor wiring job that screwed up our stereo systemWhen I called them their answer was "What do you want us to do?" THey expected me to leave my vacation and drive all the way back thereThis is extremely bad business practice and would never recommend them to anyone
