In response to this complaint by [redacted] in regards to the Stihl Pole Saw which was brought into Lake Lawn Equipment and checked into the repair shop for repair, I shall state the following: All equipment that is checked into the shop for repair shall be assessed an estimate fee.  The...

charge for a Stihl Pole Saw is $30.00 plus sales tax.  If the customer approves the estimate for repairs or if the warranty covers the repair cost, then the estimate fee is waived.  If the customer does not approve the repair estimate or the warranty does not cover the repair cost, then the estimate fee shall be assessed for the equipment in question.  The Stihl Pole Saw that was checked into the shop and repair requirements needed on the Stihl Pole Saw did not qualify for warranty. The failure of the unit was due to misuse and or abuse of the unit.  The failure was not due to a manufacturer defect or workmanship. A bent drive shaft due to the improper operator use does not qualify for warranty.  Dropping the unit into a river will not qualify the repair to be covered under warranty.  The estimate on the unit was for the repair of the bent drive shaft and repair for the unit being dropped into the river.  The unit had complete water contamination.  The customer has every right to not authorize the proposed estimate.  If the estimate for repair is declined by the customer, the unit is assessed the $30.00 estimate fee plus sales tax and the customer can pick the unit up once the estimate fee is paid. The customer has refused to pay the estimate fee.  The Stihl Pole Saw will not be released to the customer until all applicable charge are paid in full.

I was complaining because the parts that was given back to me was not my parts. Contacted a Regional Stihl Distributor, and he was a mediator for us. Thru this process Lake Lawn agreed to take my h131 saw back and repair it for 175.00 instead of the 485.00 they had originally told me. Upon returning to lake lawn with my saw they very politely told me they were not going to do that either. After further discussion with the regional rep he lined me up with another distributor who was more than happy to take care of it for me for the 175.00. Upon dropping the saw off he looked at it and agreed with me, that there was no way the part that was bent came out of the saw that was handed back to me at Lake Lawn. Plain and simple buyer beware. They are the boss once you drop a tool off there, and if they hand it back to you in a bunch of plastic bags with a bill don't be surprised.

Review: This company contacted me at work and at home regarding an amount they stated I owed from a payday loan issued in 2008 to my name. The first lady I spoke to, labelled Agent [redacted], tried to collect on this, however, I asked for proof of debt. She stated she would email it to me - which she did. I called back to ask for itemized proof sent via registered mail. A different representative was combative and refused to comply. At which point I stated I would not recognize the debt as there is no proof.

I emailed the company back asking for this as well - the response stated After a couple of weeks, I receive a text message stating that they were arranging for someone to serve me legal court papers. I advised that person that I was still in the process of finding out if it's even a valid complaint.

Today, I receive a call, on my work phone - the phone number did not show, from a gentleman stating he needed to serve me court papers for 4 allegations. He wanted to arrange for a place to meet, whether it be work or home. He then transferred me back to the CCS call center to work out arrangements - since the scare tactics worked.

The gentleman I talked to, [redacted] ###-###-####, stated that this was a loan secured in my name and social security number to a checking account ending in [redacted]. I checked all of my bank accounts and have none ending in anything that close. He also stated that he could send me all of the banking information and basically all the proof I needed to seek legal council AFTER I paid. Because I was scared of legal ramifications, I set up arrangements to pay - giving my debit card information.

After calming down, I did some research and could not find anything valid on this company. And also realized that he sent me a confirmation email from a [redacted] account - not a business email account. I have since cancelled my debit card and refuse to acknowledge this debt as I have seen no hard proof, and I know for a fact, I did not secure an online payday loan with any company they have mentioned.

Please note, I do not have anything with exact dates, so they are approximate.Desired Settlement: My desired income is that I never here from this company or any subsidary they may be associated with. I want my information wiped from their records and showing that I do not owe anything.

From the lack of evidence, this is not my debt and not my responsibility.

They have made false allegataions, contacted my work, and downright lied - using unethical collections practices.

Illegal collection practices, threats, calls to employers neighbors, sharing personal information, DO NOT OWE

also under C. C. S

Suite 282

Jamestown, NY 14701-1231

I did take out a payday loan and it was paid off in full. These people have called and emailed me several times. I have asked for something in writing with the original creditor It also took me several attempts to get the above address. They have threatened me and my daughter saying I will lose my job my home and go to jail. I have asked to have them serve the papers as I would rather deal with the court than their harrasment. They are even calling my husbands boss as well as neighbor who live down the road and giving them personal information about me and saying that I have an arrest warrant out. I never gave them these numbers, I have printed out illegal collection practices and tried to follow the steps so that they have to leave me alone but they wont. Here are the email and numbers that have been used to contact me. ([email protected])

###-###-#### fax ###-###-#### ###-###-#### ###-###-#### This is the information I have for them. I can send a copy of the emails I have to and from them if needed. They also used a las Vegas [redacted] supposed paralegal named [redacted] said I would lose my drivers lisc I just want the harrassment to stop

Review: C.C.S has contacted me billing an account that was paid in full back in 06/08/2010. The originator was EZ Corp, client # [redacted]. This debt was paid in full on 06/08/2010 to [redacted] in Tonawanda, NY in the amount of $650.00, account number of bill [redacted].

I was instructed to pay by [redacted], reference # [redacted] in the amount of $650.00.

At the time that the loan was paid, the billing company was located in [redacted] which is now

located in Jamestown, NY 14701-1231, [redacted] 282.

The company is insisting that I owe another account and they have threatened me with issuing court and other procedures. I tried to

explain to them that the account was paid off with a settlement back in 06/08/2010 but they would not hear me out, instead they would

hang up on me. They did not want any copies of the payment or the copy of the letter releasing all liability on the account. I contacted the Revdex.com in El Paso, Tx. and was forwarded to the Revdex.com in NY. I was instructed by a representative ([redacted]) to

file the complaint with Revdex.com as well as with the attorney general. I was instructed by Revdex.com not answer any other calls from this company

nor to sign or accept any type of documentation that they present.

They have harrased me and have caused my blood pressure to escalate, which I have medical problems.Desired Settlement: This business needs to research the payment made to them back in 06/08/2010 which paid off the loan to EZ Corp. That was the only

debt to them and it was resolved with the agreement to settle in the amount of $650.00. I do not want to be contacted nor harrassed

by this company. If needed, I will forward all existing receipts of payment and letters of payment.

Review: On May 8, 2013, I received a very threathening phone call form a representative of C.C.S. regarding a loan. First, I could barely understand what the man was saying, because he was speaking so fast. Upon reviewing the VM sevearal times, I was finally able to understand the contact number and called the company.

Upon speaking to a representative, who identified himself as [redacted]. I believe it was the same person who left the VM because the voice sound the same. This individual was the rudest person I have ever spoke with one the phone. His tactics were very disturbing, threatening and offensive. He would not let me talk, spoke rudely to me and his tactics were leaning towards harassment. He used the information he had on me as a tactic to scare me into trying to pay a bill which I do not even remember from 2008; claiming that the statue of limitation is about to end. He also threntened to come to my place of employment and /or my house with the authorities. I have put my attorney on this for further investigation, see what rights I have as a consumer.

Review: I recieved a phone call from an Investigator [redacted] about a complaint on alleged check fraud with [redacted] payday, he informed me of my social security number and my license number I don't know how they got my personal information for a loan that I know nonthing about. She left a message that I had 24 hours to return this call or I would be arrested at my home or work she then stated that I have been warned. When I spoke to the man he informed me that I did check fraud with [redacted] payday loan. I informed him how could I be the one doing fraud if I applied for a payday loan why would it be check fraud. Nonthing added up he informed me that this was back from 10 years ago and I said well I never recieved anything in the mail. I had moved and they would have forwarded my mail to my correct address. He informed me not with my banking information on it. I never heard of anything so silly. He gave me 3 options of settlement offers. I informed him I wanted something in writing and he sent me some bogus email. I actually called [redacted] and they do not service Massachusetts residents. Now I know they are scamming. Please put a stop to this now. Also they are calling my mothers house and she is disabled so I do not know how they got her number. I asked for documentation and was informed in order to settle out of court that I would have to do a payment and then they would send me documentation on my file. Scam

Review: This is the second time I have been contacted and threatened with arrest and prosecution by this company. The first time was in dec of 2012 and I paid after I was told by the rep that he was an officer with my local sheriffs dept and threatened with arrest and prosection. this time it started on dec 20th with a debt that the rep admitted that the company had known about for over a year but had just decided to contact me on that date. after I was berated, belittled and repeatedly threatend by a man named michael we worked out a repayment agreement which I am doing my best to honor.Desired Settlement: 1 full written apology by the agents that have contacted and threatened me2 all of my files and information with this company physcially mailed to me

Review: This company first contacted me in 11/2013. I ask for validation of debt and received an Agreement to Settle. The Client ID listed as ** original ID 5**. This is a collection agency and not the original. I was told that they would only accept credit card payments.

I responded asking for further information, I received a second emailed word document. This listed the company as Customer Court Services - Pre Mediation, Arbitration and Litigation pending court services. This contained all of my personal info, banking info and a original Pay Day Loan number of 1**. The Settlement amount was $512.50. I responded to these emails (coming from [email protected] which doesn't seem like a proper business address) asking them for information that I am legally entitled to per the FTC. The response was that they could make this go away for $200. Quite a drop.

I have retained emails.

1/21/14 I received a phone call from a Case Inspector Spencer from County Court Services, letting me know that four charges would be filed against me. When I ask for further information, I was sent to speak with a Ted Marshall. He would not tell me the address of his business only provided a phone number of ###-###-####. Apparently they work throughout the United States. He indicated that he would hold my file for sixty minutes before sending it off to the courts. I repeatedly asked for the information about the original debt that he was unwilling to provide. I was told that the amount due was $612.32 - but really $756.11 and that he would need a credit card to secure the payment.

Again asked for documentation, received an email with no address for his company, nor the original debt. No other way to pay this debt than credit card. I felt harassed and pressured by the time, uncomfortable with only credit card payment. He would not accept anything else, not money order or certified bank check. This email contained different account number and lender information.

This does not seem like a reasonable way to collect debts and after a 20+ minute conversation, I was feeling harassed, belittled, told I was lazy and stupid. That they would have me served with legal papers – that someone would be able to immediately show up at my home or work. Scared, confused, upset, I disconnected my phone and ended the conversation.

I sent an email requested proper information as I am entitled to according to the FTC. It also included and cease and desist letter asking for all future information to be sent to the mailing address on file.

I then received a phone call from a "Private Number" on my cell insisting that the 60 minutes was now off the table, that because I refused to speak further with him (I did hang up after 20+ minutes of feeling harassed, laughed at, threatened, etc).

How am I to pay a past bill if the information is inconsistent? If the company does not have a website? If they only take credit cards? They will not provide me with the information the FTC says that I am entitled to? If they can not provide a breakdown of fees or interest?

PLEASE ALSO NOTE that the address that they use is a UPS Store - This can easily be confirmed by looking of the UPS store address in Jamestown, NY. And that the "Suite" number that they use is actually nothing more than a PO box.

Ted Marshall also indicated that mail was being sent to my home, that I was never there to sign for it, that no one else would be able to sign for it. But could not tell me when someone came to my home, or provide me with the documents that they were trying to give to me.Desired Settlement: I would like to understand how a company can continue to operate under the guise of a collection agency, but not be able to provide me with any of the documents I requested? Not one. The threats are not legal, the way the conduct business by scaring people is not legal.

Since this business does not have a web site address I am unable to file a complaint online, however will continue to pursue this in person.

I do not want any further phone calls from this company. They can send me mail at the address they have on file.

I would like the company to provide me with the documents I have requested:

Why do I owe this money?

How this amount has been calculated in a way I can understand.

Copies of the papers where I agreed to pay what they say I owe.

(if applicable) a copy of the judgment

the name of the original creditor

Demonstration that you are licensed in my state, and provide this number to me.

Proof that they are the registered agent for this debt and no one else is attempting to collect this debt.

Actually physical address - not a PO box at a UPS store.

Time to review this information and allow me to pay this debt in a reasonable time and via either money order or certified bank check as I had previously offered.
