In this case, the College has consistently communicated *** Ms*** regarding her concerns and has attempted to, and made good faith efforts to, work *** her to address and resolve her concernsThe College investigated Ms***'s concerns and was not able to find evidence to substantiate her allegations of wrongdoingAs such, after reviewing this matter, the College denied any wrongdoing and informed Ms*** that it appears her situation was in fact handled appropriatelyDespite the College's efforts and communications, regrettably, Ms*** remains dissatisfied
Ms***'s specific complaints are about a grade she received in the class *** *** ***The College reviewed Ms***'s complaints and determined that she was graded appropriately in this classThe College previously informed Ms*** of the sameContrary to Ms***'s allegations, one student's grade is not determined by another student's class submissions; all students are graded based on their own performanceThe specific class referenced by Ms*** includes rubrics for each assignment type, available to all students in the class beginning on the first dayThe criteria includes reflecting full understanding of key concepts, creating substantive work *** in-depth analysis and application of concepts, and for the class discussion component students are expected to read a majority of other students' postsThe College's review of this situation determined that the class instructor applied to rubric accurately and consistently for all students, including Ms***As such, Ms***'s claims of a "rigged system," "very unscrupulous people," or a "cover up" appear to be unfounded and could not be confirmed by the College and the College therefore denies Ms***'s allegationsAccordingly, there is no basis for a refund of the class as requested by Ms***
