Review: They are billing illegally. My daughters bill monthly have averaged between $90.00 and $136.00 a month for the day program they offer for disabled children. Due to board member issues and irrational acts on the part of the board president, I pulled my daughter from their facility when I found out the ceo resigned and several staff was going to quit. She went 10 days total and they billed me $255.00 . This is massive overbilling and illegal for them to bill me for an outragous amount for 10 days. They billed me three times $91.00 then $28.00 and then $136.00 totaling $255.00 for 10 days. June thru august we paid 136.00 for a month of services. Now I'm billed 255.00 for 10 days. I know they are financially in trouble but I refuse to have them bill my disabled daughter an outragous amount of money to fit their pockets. Over billing is illegal they need to be stopped!Desired Settlement: I will only pay for the days the services were rendered not a penny more. They need to be fined for illegal acts against disabled people.

To Whom It May Concern:

We are responding to a complaint letter submitted by [redacted] in October. The complaint ID number is [redacted] and our Resolution Moderator is [redacted]. The complaint States that Center Pointe is billing illegally and addresses fictitious rumors in regards to the board. An incorrect bill had been sent out. This bill contained an incorrect duplicate charge. The double billing was in no way intentional. We did mail out a letter in July informing our customers who they should contact in regards to possible billing errors. [redacted] has not attempted to make contact with anyone here at the Center to address the error. We are happy to make the necessary corrections. A correct bill has been mailed to [redacted]. We have no intention of collecting monies that are not owed to the Center. This mistake was a simple oversight given the amount of transition that we have gone through here at Center Pointe. We are diligently working through an audit of our past billings in order to ensure that any mistakes are caught and corrected immediately.

Given the many changes within the company over the last few months I thought it would be fitting to let you know who you will be corresponding with in regards to billing statements and payments for all participants here at Center Pointe.

Due to the significant changes that have recently taken place we, the accounting team, will be reviewing all statements and ensuring that payments are posted to the appropriate participant ledgers. We request that if there are any discrepancies on your statement that you submit the following information in order for us to research the issue: the month in question, check #(s), amount(s) paid, person or entity that submitted the payment(s), and date(s) payment(s) were sent in.

When submitting future billings we do request that any payment sent in has the first and last name of the person the payment should post to clearly written on the memo line. If the name of the participant is not included we have no way of tracking the payment.
