I would highly recommend not to do your move with this complany (OO Movers). I had a box that was untapped but folded and inside was a bunch of brand new books and a binder full of baseball and basket ball cards that are highly valued cards worth quite a bit of money and were also very sentimental to me [redacted]. I called the manager to complain and she treated me very rudely as well as her trying to say that this indecent was my fault that I must have forgot the box somewhere else. After I suggested that the least she could do was fire the workers she just tried to tell me how great of a company they are. I never even got an apology. If I where you I would not go with company.
On March 26 I scheduled to move my piano on May 9. everything went fine - operators are very polite. no problems, it's all confirmed.
Received an email on May 6 to reconfirm the move. I do this - still everything is fine. no issues.
May 8 I receive a phone call that there are issues with the truck could we reschedule for May 10. We reschedule to move the morning of May 10.
May 10 rolls around... I've cleared everything out of the way to move the piano. Sitting around waiting.. I call customer support several times looking for an update on what's happening, no one answers.
I try calling again at 1pm and someone answers. The truck broke down and the driver didn't tell anyone?? The operator asks if we can reschedule for May 11. No, let's cancel this. She says, "Okay, sorry about that." and hung up on me.
That was it. That was all I got. That's how much they care about any one else's time.
April 22, 2016: I arrange to have MiniMovers pick up two items (e.g., a fridge and small table) at a warehouse to be delivered to my home. Initially, we arrange for a 1:00 pm pickup time at the warehouse. At about 11:00 am, I am told that they will be unable to make the 1:00p pick up. We set 5:00 pm for pick up at the warehouse. They call at 4:40p to say they cannot make that time, either.
I advise that I turned down other movers, earlier, who could have picked the goods up. If we don't pickup on the weekend, I will incur storage charges. Their guy in Vancouver tells me that they best they can do is schedule something for Monday.
Don't make commitments that you may be unable to keep. I can always find someone else given enough time.
I relied on their scheduling to my own detriment. Don't make a similar mistake.
We were very happy with Owner operator movers There movers are friendly and very efficient The price was also very fair This is the third time someone in our family has used this company and have been very satisfied each time Would highly recommend them
All I can say about 00 Movers is that I have utilised their services on 4 separate occasions and I have been satisfied each time. This time especially as I moved from one downtown condo suite to another, I have a very heavy motorised sofa that was exceptionally difficult to move. Greg and Elliott were very concerned about being able to bring it into my new condo. After the third attempt we were out of options! They guys decided to try one other thing which included removing a door bracket at the top and a light fixture due to a low ceiling. This time their angle and twisting payed off and the sofa was in! Greg and Elliott saved my $3000.00 couch! I can't imagine any customer posting a negative review of this moving company. Bravo gentlemen.
I used OO movers to move from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. The move is complex because of the ferries involved. The team was fast and efficient and careful with all our goods and managed to fit in everything with their good skill and creative packing. Logistics was great and everything was completed and done ahead of schedule. They used a 3 person crew even though we only had to paid for a 2 person team. In the end the total price was a bargain. Highly recommend this company.
I wish to compliment this moving company for providing us with a small but essential movement of household furniture. From the outset, both men, Eric & Mike were friendly and accommodating to any requests we made. They showed up at the proper time, actually slightly ahead of the allotted time schedule, and immediately commenced moving the articles as directed. They were careful and we had no damage to any of the furniture. In cases when applicable, they covered the articles with the appropriate blankets. When entering into our home with articles of furniture, they removed their shoes. In summation, I will highly recommend this company! In my opinion I would rate our experience with this business as "POSITIVE ONLY"
