Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Central Plumbing and heating is once again not taking responsibility for their actions. Their statement is incorrectThe tank they first replaced was much larger than the tiny tank installed. It never worked right and they did come out and look but we were charged every timeMr*** would have never agreed to the smaller tank. He allowed the so-called professionals to do their job. We did not realize that we should have hired a plumber to check their plumbers work. I personally told CP&H how to correctly plumb the job per instructions from the company that replaced the burnt out well pumpNow my electrical is damaged and I distinctly remember showing the CP&H the breaker boxes and he did not seem confident with electrical workHe should have called an electrician. I would have if I'd known he would proceed without being sure of his actions. Their statement is incorrect. There was only one trip that I was not charged for and that was due to my original complaint. They should check their invoices. I was not given a 10% discountIf this is how they conduct business, it's time to retire.Sincerely,*** ***

01/10/2011: The [redacted] contacted Central Plumbing & Heating to replace the well pressure tank. On 01/18/2011 we replaced the original leaking 42 gallon stubby non diaphragm pressure tank with a like 42 gallon stubby non diaphragm pressure tank. The well was set up to use a non diaphragm tank...

and it was a very tight fit for the tank and piping so we installed the same style of tank that was existing with the ok of Mr. [redacted].03/14/2011 the [redacted] requested attention to a loud clunking on the tank that was installed 01/18/2011. The plumber went out and checked system, no noises, did not feel anything was excessive. 03/16/2011: Mike C. went out because lack of findings by plumber. Mike C. found the system piped correctly but the snifter valve cap was on tight and should have been loose. Mike C. used Mr. [redacted] compressor to add some air to the tank. The noise did not seem excessive but there was some humming and thumping. Both of these call outs were responded to in one day and the [redacted] were not charged. Two years later: 04/22/2013 request was made by the [redacted] that the tank was leaking & hissing. 04/23/2013: When the plumber arrived, he found the snifter was leaking which he changed and adjusted the air volume control to release the excess air in the tank so that the air would not come out of the faucets but the excessive air was good for the volume of water available during a [redacted] cycle. We charged 1-1/4 hours of labor and one snifter valve for this service call two years after the tank install.05/07/2015 request from the [redacted] that the well tank clicks on and off. 5/07/2015: The plumber thought it was the control box, recommended calling [redacted] to check it out. 06/19/2015: Mrs. [redacted] called and was upset with her well and Central Plumbing & Heating. Mike C. told her either on the phone or when he met with her at her home on Saturday 06/20/2015 that he would give her 10% off on a new tank of her choice and one that would fit in the space available. In talking to Mrs. [redacted] about her problems with her well she agreed to have one of our plumbers come and install a WX250 well  Extrol diaphragm tank.  06/26/2014: Central Plumbing & Heating went out and installed a WX250 well Extrol tank at her request. As far as we knew, the well has been changed to a non bleed back system when a new [redacted] was installed in the past two years. The job went well and no problems were noted. When we invoiced the job, we gave a 10% discount on the tank as was offered to Mrs. [redacted]. The electric issue I don’t feel we have any liability either. We did replace a pressure switch but it is on a different breaker than the basement outlets so it is unlikely that the plumber caused the problem. Conclusion: we have made three (3) trips out at no charge and given 10% off of the WX250 tank. I don’t think we have any liability on this jobs problem. CP & H has responded each time we were notified of the problems and I feel the first tank was the proper tank to put on the system at the time because of the way it was piped.
