Rental beach house was falsly advertised with features it did not have.No hot waterNo InternetNo TV hook upNo beach accessNo ocean viewWe had to make seveal trips to Century 21 office to beg them to make repairs. We had 5 different repair people at that house trying to fix, leaking commods, lights that didn't work. Century 21 refused to move us to another property or offer us a voucher on another vacaton, since this one was ruined.Desired SettlementNo less than $1000. We spent almost $3000 on this crappy house that wasn't worth $500.

Misrepresentation on their website, along with an extremely substandard property that is being rented to their patrons. The house, and amenities on the scale of 1 - 10 would have to be a 1. And we only give the house a 1 because it did provide internet access. Other than that, the place was absolutely disgusting, and poorly maintained. Let's start on the outside. The light under the house for parking was broken, and barely hanging by one wire. So no light at night when entering, or exiting our vehicle. The front of the house in the "dunes" area was like a garbage dump. We counted at least 5 empty cigarette packs along with a lot of other trash. The railing on the front deck was extremely wobbly, and probably would fall apart if too much weight was placed on it the wrong way. The deck ceiling leaked like a sieve. Now the inside. Seriously, it was a complete dump and filthy!! After reviewing the pictures that you have advertising the [redacted], all I can say, it is very, very deceiving. You web page with pictures shows a small table at the front window with three chairs surrounding it. Instead, we had this HUGE table with 4 chairs that took up so much room, there was barely enough space between the couch, and the large table to walk through. The sofa bed you show looked to be in good shape. The one that was in our unit was completely different, and I am so glad that we didn't have more people with us so they would not have to utilize it. It is nasty dirty, and I felt "violated" just sitting on it. The carpet on the floor is beyond deplorable. The living room light did not work. Don't know if it simply needed a new light bulb, or the wiring went bad. Now the kitchen. There wasn't even a stopper for the sink in order to wash dishes. My wife found the largest pot available and utilized that in order to wash the dishes after every meal. The kitchen cabinets have obviously not been cleaned out in quite some time. My wife had to wash all of the dishes as it appeared that nobody had done that either. There was lipstick marks on many of the glasses that were in the cabinets. The drawer that held the utensils had food crumbs in just about ever compartment. Again, my wife had to take out ALL the utensils and clean them, along with the utensil container. The entire kitchen was crawling with ants. We went out and bought ant spray as the ant situation got worse as the week progressed. Every time the refrigerator door was opened, the front grill (on the bottom of the frig.) fell off. Behind, and in front where the grill attaches to the refrigerator was a tremendous amount of dog hair. We tried opening the windows one day and both of them would not budge. The bathroom. My wife was in the bathroom and turned the light on. After turning the light/fan switch on, dust balls fell from the fan vent above. My wife cleaned that also. She also wiped the bathroom floor with some paper towels, and they were totally black, along with dental floss that was not cleaned up by your cleaning team. I couldn't fill the sink up with water when shaving as the stopper did not work at all. The tub shower glass doors were filthy from soap sm. The tub had black mold on the caulking. The bedroom. Now that was a joke. Your pictures on the web site show a bed along with a 4 drawer bureau. There was no bureau at all. Instead there was some make shift box with two small bins, and two small compartments to put a meager amount of clothes in. There is much more to write, but unfortunately not enough characters left.Reservation ID# [redacted] Total cost - $830.95Paid by credit card. 8/29 - 9/5/2015/////Desired SettlementI contacted [redacted], the owner/CEO of Century 21 Action, Inc. on two occasions voicing my concerns with the substandard rental property asking for an apology and some sort of compensation. I received an e-mail from Mr.[redacted] with no apology whatsoever, nor any hint of compensation. The e-mail received by Mr.[redacted] was arrogant, and unapologetic./////

We had rented a house from 6/22 to 6/28 from C21Action Realty in [redacted] for $5,500. We were without Air Condition for 5 days. Everytime we placed a call to C21 Action Realty we got a run around. I finally got a hold of [redacted] their Broker in Charge who told me he would look to compensate us with a partial refund for the AC being out. Temp in the house at night were in the mid 80's and in the day time it was unbearbale.As I told [redacted] I know he has a lot of rentals that bring him more money per week but $5,500 for a week is a lot of money for us and for our vacation that we saved for it a very long time and for it not go even slightly well, that's is not good.As I said [redacted] agreed and told me he would look for a way to give us some type of partial refund.Thank You, [redacted]Desired SettlementI feel any type of refund would be welcomed by us.

Request to cancel [redacted] vacation rental (10/11/14-10/18/14) due to the poor and unsanitary condition of the [redacted] Upper rental o(09/06/14-09/13/14Rental: [redacted]-UpperComplaint: Animal feces, a nasty rag and mold like conditions under the kitchen sink upon arrival to the unit, discovered once I starting putting my cleaning products away at 9:00 PM. Unit was not properly cleaned. I re-cleaned the house. After this incident, we requested to cancel our next vacation when we went to Century 21 on Monday, Sept 8, 2014 on 10/11/14-10/18/14 in the same house. Were told we could not get a refund unless the house was re-rented, but the manager, [redacted] would look into this and give us a answer by Monday, 9/8/14 at 5:00. He did not respond. We went back to the office on Wednesday, 9/10/14 to talk with him and he was not in. Staff did not know when he would be in, but they would let him know we wanted to see him. Later that day, around 1:30, he showed up at the rental and talked with us. He told us Century 21 had a cancellation policy, which we adhered to when we gave him the written request to cancel the pending vacation. He when told us we could not get a refund unless the Unit was re-rented, it's in the lease agreement. It's also in the lease agreement, paragraph #22-Agents duties, Part 1- to provide the property in a fit and habitable condition, and animal feces under the sink violates this condition, as far as my husband and I are concerned. At this point, Mr [redacted] offered us money to leave, which we did not, our daughter was on the island and we planned our vacation together. He gave us $100.00 back in compensation on this rental and the 50.00 early check-in fee on the rental we canceled. We feel like we should get a refund on the rental price on the house since we were canceling it due to the poor and unsanitary condition of this rental we were currently staying in. The way the agent treated us was unprofessional, disrespectful and dismissive of our problem.Desired SettlementA refund of the rental on the [redacted] for 10/11/14-10/18/14.That's all!

No offer to refund money as a result of personal injury.While on vacation, my daughter slipped and fell and fractured her ankle at a rental property managed by this business. When I told a rental agent about the incident, there was no attempt to offer any refund for at least a portion of the time we spent at the hospital and doctor's office.I would have expected at least some recognition that this was unfortunate and that some type of refund would be offered. This incident occurred on August 4, 2014 at the [redacted] rental property.Desired SettlementI would like at a minimum a partial refund of the rental fee for the time we spent at the hospital and doctor's office.
