Review: On August ** I placed an order for 2 packages of descaler for my heavy duty espresso machine. This is the order information. Your Order #[redacted] (placed on August **, 2013 2:53:23 PM EDT). My credit card was charged with the amount of the purchase plus shipping and handling immediately. I have not received the product and today is September**. I sent an email after two weeks asking why the product was delayed and received no reply. I placed a call to the business on September [redacted]. and was told the product was out of stock. The young man I spoke with said I should have received an automatic message notifying me of the out of stock status. I told him I didn't get any such message and my email had not been responded to either. He apologized and said that the shipment for the product was due in on Monday the [redacted] and I would get an email providing me with shipment status and tracking information. That has not happened either. It's been 4 weeks since the order was placed and the only contact I've had has been self-initiated.Desired Settlement: I want the product I ordered and want the company to contact me about why they haven't contacted me about the continued delay.

Response:

We are aware of the issue and have made changes a few changes. We are working on better management of out of stock items, and better notifications for orders with issues.

Regarding the complaint:

The item ordered had to be manufactured, and is based out of New York. The time frame promised to us was relayed to the customers. The manufacturer than missed the deadline and we missed ours. We did not mean to mislead the customer.

Since the complaint has been filed the item has been manufactured and has arrived (today, Sept. [redacted]). We will be shipping Order [redacted] today. Customer has indicated that she would like to keep the order open as of September [redacted].

Tracking information will be sent to the customer as soon as it's available.
