Building a home should be a wonderful and exciting experience, instead it has been a NIGHTMARE using CHC Do-it Best Home Centers in Rogersville. If I could mark a NO star, I would. Their way of conducting business is inappropriate and utterly embarrassing I must add. I would not want to be seen working in there if I was an employee. Not only can they not order anything correctly but can't get it on time. They ordered the incorrect roof color and refused to pay the re-installation (labor) portion of it. Ordered windows via phone call (who does that anymore?) instead of ordering it via email so their is proof of the error and blamed the new girl at Quaker claiming that she wrote down the incorrect sizes. Let's say that is true, when Quaker asked [redacted] to confirm the sizes he gave his "ok". Of course my windows came in the wrong sizes and it took 4 weeks for them to come in which in turn delayed my home being built for that long because nothing could be done until the windows arrived! CHC Do-it Best Home Centers ([redacted]) takes NO responsibility in the delaying of the home and his customer service stinks (to put it mildly). The lengthy conversation about my doors and their "swings" was a total waste of time, as they STILL were ordered incorrectly by [redacted]. The sheetrock that [redacted] ordered for the ceilings was not for the ceilings, but instead for the walls. My contractor had jump through hoops to get the correct sheetrock for the ceilings. When CHC Do-it Best Home Centerscame to pick up the excess of sheetrock they did not even take what was in the other rooms. It's like they've never experienced the building of a home. Instead of calling me to be sure what it is they needed to pick up, they only took what was in the garage. After the mistakes made on the prior, you think they'd reach out to be sure and extra sure. NOPE!!! Not [redacted], but why would he? He already made the commission on my $75k sale.
