Their warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on

We had this product applied to our home by Liquicoat of Connecticut some years ago. Started peeling after a couple of years. Water got behind the product at some points in the house and the wood started to rot. Replaced our north wall and now have to replace south wall due to this product. Liquicoat of Conn. went out of business and when I called the C.H.I.C, in Canada and sent them pictures they offered to send a gallon for "touch up". Are they serious! I want this product off my home. We're out $14,000 and have so far spent another $3,000 for repairs. Scraping and painting with good old paint!

Used Chic Liquid Vinyl on our home in 2009. After about 4 years it started to fade and turn a mauve color (original color was taupe). Each year the fading got worse. I called the manufacture last April because we had a "lifetime" warranty on this product. Of course, when I called they said that color fading is not part of the life time warranty. We are now in the process of having it repainted. I do not recommend this product.

Contracted to seal , repair and paint building in stages. Has completed seal and repair was paid for and has collected $8000.00 to order and get paint and has not returned since 6/2011 to do the painting. Voicemail is full, does not answer phone. Sent emails begining 10/24 and last response was on 10/28 that he would be here Monday, that would have been 10/31/2011. Still no response. Sent a concerned email today. Also recieved call from another business down the street from us that is having the same problem. Fear that he has skipped with our money.
