Children's Hospital

Review: Children's Hospitalhas sent me to collections over a payment I have already made, but they refuse to correct the changes. The first collection agency they sent me to provided detailed documentation--which I provided--to close my case and make Children's Hospital aware. They closed my case, but Children's has now sent me to ANOTHER collections agency. The payment was made online under confirmation# [redacted] for $55.30 showing on my credit card statement as paid on 4/15/2013. My statement # with Children's is [redacted].

I have called and called, but nobody working there seems educated enough to ensure the changes are made. One operator even said "Oh yea I see the payment here, it should clear within a week--don't worry about it". Obviously she doesn't understand the severity of wrongfully sending a client to a collections agency. This matter needs to be addresses immideately and this Account Receivable needs to be matched up so I can be left alone over this $55.30 I have already paid for. I have mailed all of my documents to this second collections agency as well as to the hospital themselves for the second time. This needs to be corrected as it is unfair. Makes me wonder what other malpractices happen there if their accounting department can't even match up an AR.Desired Settlement: I need for them to retract their sending me to collections over an amount that has been paid already as we'll as a letter confirming that this has been done.
