Review: For the past year I have been dealing with the billing dept. at CPA. I continue to receive statements from them every month. CPA has either submitted to the wrong insurance co. or my employer has done something incorrectly on their end. I have spent HOURS on the telephone between the ins. co, my employers, and the billing dept at CPA. EVERY time I take my children in I receive a stmnt and told it is my responsibilty to pay. In January 2013 I received a telephone call the day before my sons dr apt and was told that the balance needed to be taken care of before I brought my son in the next day. EVERY time I go into the office I am harrassed to pay. My appointment is delayed and there are times where they have asked me to step into the billing office and stand there while they call the ins. co. I was told that the most recent charges (for Jan 2013) was an internal mistake and they thanked me for calling. I asked several times for an explanation why I receive statements and get harrassed in the office. I have to spend time calling the office before and after every visit to clear up charges.Desired Settlement: I want to be assured that in the future I am not harrassed or threatened to not get service (dr apt for my children) because of an outstanding balance that has not been resolved within the office or ins. co. I would suggest internal procedures at CPA be adjusted. Additionally, I would suggest hiring more personal in the billing department to take care of issues with ins. co. so that parents do not have to spend so much time doing someone else job.
