Hello Mr [redacted] ,My name is [redacted] and am the owner of The carpet Guys Although I was not directly involved in your order, since my sales manager [redacted] is out of town all this week, I will do my best to try and accommodate your needs From what my research in this matter shows, It appears that you received a $off coupon as well as an additional $off coupon that was combined with your original pricing It appears that the coupon discounts were applied towards your carpet end of the order which landed you at a $sqftprice point after tax, installation, upgraded padding and the added bonuses of the removal of old carpet and furniture moving Furthermore, from the notes I am looking at in your file, it appears that the Marathon Vinyl Plank floor and installation came to be $ an additional ft of shoe molding and installation at $ The skim coat and floor preparation and glue needed for this installation of the job were charged at $ Metal transition strips at $ Stair nose at $56.00, and the sales tax on the materials were $for a total of $4, As for the break down of how I pay my installers per square foot for their labors, I do not disclose my labor rates I will say that we are not necessarily the cheapest company in town due to the fact that we give a full LIFETIME warranty on all of or installation work where most companies only give 30-days with the exception of a few of the larger outfits and national brands that give a year labor warranty Typically if you buy a home furnishing and wish to upgrade to an extended warranty or longer service plan, the going rate for a year warranty is roughly 20% of the total cost Since we provide a warranty much longer than 1-years, we factor into our costs the higher rate of service calls and warranty repair costs that are more likely to take place over the long haul of people owning their homes Luxury Vinyl Plank as well as carpet come in certain size increments For LVT and LVP, we send out the product in cartons and not individual planks Each carton may contain between and square feet, so there often is a waste factor to consider when attempting to break down costs Carpet comes in ft wide rolls, so for example, if someone needs an 8xroom of carpet, they actually buy square feet rather than square feet because carpet is delivered in foot increments and not square foot tiles Because of the waste factor, it is also hard to give an exact breakdown of cost per foot or yard in this caseFurthermore, we also pay each of our installers a minimum labor charge regardless of weather they are installing feet or 5,feet, so with that being said, there is no real consistent per square foot price I will say that the product that you chose is an EXCELLENT product and by no means an entry level piece of floor covering This product is very similar to what you may find on the floor in a local school or hospital hallway, It is made for heavy traffic and can withstand years and years of heavy foot traffic It even has a year commercial wear warranty on it thus making it a bit more expensive of a product than an entry level plank that you may find at your local box retail store.Hopefully I was able to assist and answer your questions If you need anything else, please feel free to email me directly at ***@CarpetGuys.com and I will do my best to further assist you in any way that I can.Sincerely, [redacted] ***The Carpet Guys, LLC.###-###-####

It is always our desire to have a satisfied customer with a professionally completed installation. We have been in contact several times, the latest at roughly 4:on Thursday the 8th when Mrs*** called our office to request a specific person to perform the repair for her, which is
currently scheduled for Saturday the 17th of February. I apologize for the cancellations when the appropriate repair person was unavailable due to illness, as like much of the area we have had a number of our associates taken ill with the flu, causing disruption. We always want to be certain that we send the best possible person for the individual type of repair into our customer's home so that we can solve the problem in one visit. Unfortunately, her message was not relayed to me to answer her, which has been addressed with the person responsible as I am always available to our customers.The Carpet Guys stands behind their work, as seen by our lifetime installation warranty. I invite Mrs*** to call me at our office, *** X *** to speak with me directly so we can insure that all of her concerns are answered.*** ***Executive Vice-President

Dear ***-I am very sorry that I was out of town last week and unable to take your call when you had called into the office to talk to the owner I am extremely embarrassed and to be honest appalled at the lack of customer care in which you received after you had made a call into our office
for a service person to take a look at your issue This is NOT the way I taught my staff to handle customer issues and as a result, I have a valued customer who feels that my company in which I worked extremely hard to build and maintain a good reputation, believes we are the worst company under the sun This is a direct reflection of how the public eye views me and my family business and I am extremely sorry and quite embarrassed that this took place.For clarity, with the contractor aspect, All of our installation crews are in fact self employed independent installation mechanics however, we only use our own pre-screened contractors who we do extensive background checks on and put thorough a very thorough interview process Sometimes people may think that they are employees rather than independent business owners when a sales person words in in way way telling people that we do not outsource like *** *** or the big box stores do.;l In most cases a carpet retailer hires a 3rd party installation company who manages 100+ independent installers however, it is often a revolving door when it comes to who works for who In our case, we do everything within our legal and moral ability to use crews that work solely for us as much as possible however, for legal and tax requirements, they must remain as self employed individuals and unfortunately their is no way around that here in Michigan.Again I am very sorry for the disgustingly slow response time and I can assure you that the people responsible for neglecting you in this matter will be reprimanded for thisI am terribly sorry and I hope we can somehow regain your trust and respect Sincerely,*** ***PresidentThe Carpet Guys, LLC.###-###-####Direct Email : ***@CarpetGuys.com

We have contacted the customer and will be returning to her house on May 30th to resolve any outstanding issues The customer indicated she would be removing her complaint from the Revdex.com, and considered this appropriate resolution

I am rejecting this response because: my vehicle's brand new and in perfect condition when dropped off at the back Upon inspection of the work done at the back I found that the front parking sensors were not workingI've then notified the employees who sent me to the technician that installed the bumperIt was at this time the technician confirmed that my parking sensors were not working and assured me they would fix itThe technician made some phone calls and try to find out what the problem was but could not resolve the issue that is why they asked me to come back the next day to try to work on my truck. The back claims that their insurance denied all responsibility this is true however not once did they ever look at my truck or even ask me what happenedI offered supporting documentation from two different dealerships proving the sensors were broken upon the installation of the , but the insurance did not want to have that informationis obvious that the damages were caused by Back and they are not taking responsibility for their poor workmanship.
