Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Representatives from the company did come out, built fires, and both witnessed the house filling with smoke. The representative made the suggestion that adding the extension may help. We told him we wanted to proceed with that option since we needed some type of solution so we could use our fireplace! They stated they would be out in a couple of days. They never showed up to install that extension. They were called numerous times and never answered or returned our phone calls inquiring when it was going to be completed. We never sent a letter cancelling the contract, and even so the company is stating they received such letter a month ago. We moved on and installed another type of fireplace 3 months ago since our fireplace was determined to be irreparable after what the contractor did to it. consumer that they have to burn small fires.The company stated they got a letter from the consumer about a month ago cancelling the contract.The company stated there is no contract associated with this matter, this was a one time job.The company stated they spoke with the consumer about a possible solution previously, the company stated they told the consumer about adding a extension of the chimney and that it might be able to draft more. The company stated they did not contact the consumer after receiving the letter regarding cancelling the contract.The company stated even though there was no contract they figured the consumer did not want them to come back out.
