Review: My husband and I purchased wall to wall carpeting on April 9,2012. Carpeting was installed May 31, 2012. In May of 2013,we noticed carpeting on the steps was separating at the seams. We contacted the company and they said we were hitting the toe of our shoes into the carpet when we were climbing the stairs. We agreed to have them repair it and paid for the repairs. In April of 2014, we noticed the seams between the rooms coming apart and after contact the company sent out the installer who said it was the carpet separating from the backing and not an installation problem. I was told the company would contact me but they didn't. I contacted them, explained the problem and was told I would be hearing back from someone, probably [redacted]. It is at least 6 weeks and no one from the company has made any attempt to contact me. The carpeting is coming apart after just 2 years of normal living.Desired Settlement: Even though the warranty is over, the carpet should have lasted longer than a year because that's when it started falling apart and he led us to believe it was our fault the steps were falling apart. Now the carpet is coming apart in other places and the installer said it's the carpet coming apart from the backing. Not our wear and tear of the carpet. We were led to believe we bought high quality carpeting and we paid extra for better padding. We would like the company to resolve this issue.
