Review: On March 31, 2015, I underwent an MRI at [redacted]. After this had been authorized by Citizens Choice Health, I contacted them to see if there would be a co-pay. First, they said "yes." They they called me back and their representative said, "no, there will be no co-pay." A few weeks later I received a bill from Doctors Hospital asking for a $75 co-pay. I called Citizens Choice and asked why after I was told authoritatively that there would be NO co-pay, there was suddenly a co-pay. They told me the $75 WAS NOT A CO-PAY, THIS WAS A FACILITY CHARGE!I Do they think I'm stupid! I'm not! Whether you call it a co-pay or a facility charge, it's still a co-pay.
I spoke to the chief operating officer [redacted], who seemed fairly disinterested. I will certainly find another provider next time.Desired Settlement: Citizens Choice should pay the $75 and send me a letter of apology for their inconsistent behavior and wasting my time.
