City Muffler Center Inc.

Went to City Muffler on [redacted] to have my muffler looked at. While I was there they put my jeep on the lift and pointed to the issue. They told me it'll be [redacted] and if I did it right then they would charge me [redacted] so I said ok fix it. After leaving the repair shop my muffler was much louder than when I first took it there. My mom took my jeep because I was working to find out why it was loud and was told that they put a turbo muffler instead of an original one. They then told my mom that they told me they were putting a turbo muffler in. I was never told that they were going to replace my muffler with a turbo. I was there because my muffler was making a noise why would I pay to make my muffler louder? That doesn't make any sense to me. They then told my mom to fix it and put an original muffler it'll be an additional cost of $75. I'm very upset because I feel like I was taken advantage of. I don't know what to do as far as repairing the issue at hand.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Desired SettlementI just want the muffler replaced without having to pay more money out of pocket. Business Response Good Afternoon,This guy came to our shop; we then gave him an estimate. He received two quotes for free. The original muffler cost $175.00 and a regular muffler cost $100.00. He then decided to get the $100.00 muffler. Later a lady came who is the owner of the Jeep and complaint that the Jeep was making too much noise. She decided to put the original muffler; she paid the difference of $75.00. I apologize for the misunderstanding. Our job is guaranteed for one year.
