Citylink Communications Reviews (1)

I put in writing that CLC could not bury cable line, but they did it anyway and caused $3900 damage. Cannot reach CLC, won't respond.Tuesday, July 29 WITHOUT NOTICE, City Link Communications (contract company used by [redacted]) came out to bury a cable line, but I sent them away and put in writing on the work order that they weren't to bury the line until I contacted them. I also wrote on the work order that workers were not allowed to arrive without first notifying me via phone. I spent at least 20 minutes with the worker ([redacted] ?), discussing with him the damage that would be caused by burying the line through the drainage systems already in place. [redacted] assured me he would share the work order and discuss with supervisors. Friday, August 1 City Link Communications (CLC) returned WITHOUT NOTICE and buried the line while I was at work. Side yard was greatly damaged when path was dug up, root system cut, and French drains destroyed. Great erosion has occurred and drains are unable to work. Tuesday, August 5 [redacted] (**) from CLC came out. He asked for, and I sent, photos of before and after line burial. I asked for a copy of the work order. * said he knew nothing of the work order.Estimate to fix side yard damage/erosion/drainage was $3900Sunday, August 10 I emailed ** to ask why I hadn't heard from anyone, and I also requested the work order (again) on which I wrote that they couldn't do work, as well as a supervisor's name and contact information.August 25Spoke with **, asked several times for a copy of the work order and why I hadn't yet received it or a response about it. He told me:*he can't find the work order.*the worker ([redacted]?) keeps a messy truck and can't find the work order.*the worker ([redacted]?) never notified [redacted] that I refused the work or put into writing that CLC was not allowed to come to bury the line.*without discussing with [redacted] why work wasn't completed on the day he came to the house, CLC arranged for burial of the cable line for two days later without notifying me.*that CLC has moved to more paperless communications but doesn't provide work orders, receive work orders, or communicate (notes on jobs, etc.) via email, etc.August 28[redacted] came to the house to meet with me and my landscape contractor, [redacted] of [redacted]. Asked ** again for the work order. He told me that it still hadn't been found AND that he never SPOKE WITH THE WORKER ([redacted]?) ABOUT THE INCIDENT, THE WORK ORDER, OR HIS MEMORIES OF OUR CONVERSATION. These statements do not match with what he either stated or wrote previously. I asked * to speak with [redacted] about our interaction on July 29 as well as look for the work order. In addition, I asked him to sign a letter stating that he and CLC couldn't find the work order. [redacted] became angry with my request for him to sign it, STATING THAT HE CAN'T EVEN KNOW IF THERE WAS EVER A WORK ORDER!Monday, August 11I sent another email to ask for contact information from his supervisors as well as a copy of the work order. He did not respond to either request. September 24I sent a request to both ** to ask for up-dates on where things stood. He didn't respond. October[redacted], insurance adjustor for [redacted], representing the contractor who buried the line, came out to assess damage and take statements from me and [redacted], my landscape contractor.Received response stating that fault did not lie with contractor who buried the line, because he was not aware of the issue. He was given orders by CLC to perform the work, and he completed it upon their orders. To date: I am unable to contact [redacted] or Citylink Communications. No phone numbers work, no emails are responded to. No work order has been received. No insurance adjustor for [redacted] (?), the contractor who was given the written statement from me that work could not be completed, was sent out.I have had to pay out-of-pocket to repair the damage to the drainage systems and sideyard. CLC has no website, no working contact information.Desired SettlementI would like reimbursement for the damage they caused to my yard and drainage systems. In addition, I feel that CLC is doing horrible, dishonest work. I believe that their failure to communicated led them to illegally enter my property and do work that I expressly forbade in writing. They disregarded my legal notice, they lied to me, they have ignored me, and they caused me thousands of dollars of damage to my property. Citylink Communications should pay for the damage they caused, and I think the Revdex.com should investigate the company for it's dishonesty and evasion.
