C&L Towing

Review: Liberty Mutual Roadside Assistance referred me to C & L Towing company on Saturday, February 9, 2013. My vehicle was stalled in front of my apartment complex's driveway and when the tow serviceman ([redacted]) arrived, he refused to provide me the necessary service in restoring my vehicle to safety. [redacted] arrive at approximately 10:05pm and pulled my vehicle out of it's current position (1/3 of car on the road). He pulled my vehicle further into the street and refused to help me jumpstart my disabled car. He stated, "We were not called to jumpstart your vehicle. I'm only here to pull your car out of the ditch." [redacted] pulled my vehile out to the Street at approx 3/4 onto [redacted] Ave. I asked if there were any way which he could at least help me jumpstart my vehicle so I could at least try to move it out of the busy street. He refused to offer me the service and left my disabled vehicle stranded 3/4 way out onto [redacted] Ave.

His service was very unprofessional and his unwillingness to assist me with safety concerns have put me and my vehicle at great risk for an accident. I am not happy with the service.Desired Settlement: I am requesting for C & L Towing to pay for any damages made to my vehicle due to position in which [redacted] left my car.

To Whom It May Concern,

First off the customer wasn’t referred to C & L Towing we were sent there by a road club (Paper Attached C & L Towing was sent there to winch her car out of snow and ice in her driveway we winched the car ten feet like asked. There was no money exchanged it was covered under roadside. The car wouldn’t start the customer did ask the driver to jump the vehicle she was quoted a price and was not happy with that - So the driver went on his way. As far as her vehicle being on a busy street the car was moved ten feet up and was still in her driveway when the driver left - What the customer is mad about is that she wanted the driver to put the car further back in the driveway and jump started and she was told no because the driver didn’t want to chance getting stuck himself in 25 inches of snow.. There was no damage on or done to the vehicle.

Do your self a favor and never use this towing company. I had to call [redacted] and this is who they connected me to.The dispatcher hung up on me and the driver , (who after 1 hour ..finally showed up with an attitude the size of Pluto) ..who says he is the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. Wanted to leave me and my son stranded if he towed my vehicle..thank you [redacted]. For teaming up with this peace of work. If [redacted] doesn't cut ties with this p.o.s. I am canceling my membership. He literally threw my keys back at me when I asked him to drive us to the repair station along with my vehicle. He said I" I ain't driving you anywhere" .. I have had [redacted] for 18 years and have never had to write a complaint..
