The wife then stated she wanted a 40% gloss and we explained to here that there is no such thing as 40% gloss or 30% gloss or 20% gloss or 7% gloss its not done that it only 3 types of finish. Customer does not understand that we can't do 40% gloss it does not exist.
I had a very very bad experience with HWR. Took my rim into them to see about a repair. After receiving a quote, the owner got very defensive because I mentioned that Wheels America had quoted me much cheaper than what he quoted. I simply asked for them to put my wheel back on my car and I'd just take it over to them to have the work done. After persuading me to let them do the work, and promising to have it completed the same day....it never happened. To make a long story short...the owner/manager got upset because I didn't agree with his business tactics that he didn't have my wheel ready for repair until Monday and I dropped the wheel off at 10am on Thursday. When I went to pick my wheel up on Monday, they had me wait 2 hours while they tended to other customers that came in after me. Word to the wise...I've tried HWR and they will never receive any other business from me, a referral or anything. If I could give them 0 star, I would. If you done your research before and challenge his pricing or ask him questions as a customer he (owner/manger) gets very defensive and you're most likely to hear that he's the only on in town that does what he does (very untrue), will talk down on other businesses just to gain your business (not a good business tactic at all) and claims to be #1 (again, not true). He'll show you ratings but you may found out that most of them came from close friends and relatives. The story is much more than what's written here but wanted to get the key points across. HWR is very dishonest and will do anything to get your money. Oh and I didn't mention that I had to take a wheel back to them because it wasn't done right the first time and got defensive as in his guys don't make mistakes. It's not about the mistake. It's about what you do to correct it. I don't usually write reviews unless I've had a extraordinary or really bad experience. I'm hoping that I can save someone else the hassle by writing this review. Stay as far away from this business. Do your research as there's better places that do the same things that HWR claims to do at a much cheaper price. Hope this review helps someone out there.
