Clintonville Car Sales, Inc Reviews (1)

Dear [redacted],Thank You for taking Your time to express Yourself how you feel about our business, I'm sorry You are very unhappy with the decisions we had made. Let me first start out with our repossession policy that You had signed off on. Here in the contract it states that you agree in the event...

of failing to make any payments that we have the right to take the vehicle back with out the necessity of court order or any judicial process. You had also agreed on if You were to redeem the vehicle You would make a full payment , this payment will include any of our cost for repossessing your vehicle. We had only charged You $360 for repossessing Your vehicle, not $400. We did not repo Your car 4 days before Your payment was due, that wouldn't make any sense for us to do such a thing. We have been more than patient with you on Your payments. I have called you 16 times to remind You that You are past due on Your payments, You have 7 late fees applied to your account before the repossession, we had 2 declined transactions, and You were 5 payments behind which takes You up to $250 and another $75 in late fees. which comes out to be a total of $325.00. This is why we had repossessed Your vehicle. Again we did not repo Your car 4 days before Your payment was due. You said You had made all Your payments on time that is not true. We had only received $360.00 from You since You had purchased Your vehicle on the 4th of March, this is not including your down payment just your weekly payments that were due. You did ask if You could be switched to monthly instead of weekly, I said that was fine but before I could do that I would need for You to bring Your account up to date and also would need some kind of verification from Your employer that You are getting paid monthly and not weekly. We always set up our customers by how they get paid and try to stay close to there pay days. You were always more than welcome to pay in advance. Say if You made a payment in the beginning of the month for a whole month Your next payment wouldn't be due till next month. You didn't want to go that route. You also stated that You had called to speak with the owner and we hadn't allowed You to and then You state that we had refused to answer any of You calls. How is this even possible, apparently we had to answer Your calls in order to allow or not allow You to speak with the owner. I am the manager and I have tried several times to work things out with You. You did call several times and asked to speak with the owner he wasn't available at the time, I did talk to him and explained to him what was going on and asked for him to speak with You. He did try to get in contact with You and could not get a hold of You. I have e-mailed You several times on May 26th I had e-mailed You stating that You are more than welcome to make partial payments until You are caught up. I am willing to give You 10 days until You are fully caught up on Your payments before I am able to release Your vehicle back to You. In the 10 day letter that I had mailed out to You that You supposedly never got states that You can get Your vehicle back before we sell it by paying the entire amount You owe (not just the past due payments) including our expenses incurred in the repossession process. We did try to work with You by giving You time to just get caught up on Your payments before we could release Your vehicle back to You, instead of charging You the full amount just to get Your car back. we usually try our best to work with our customer as much as we can as long as we see that they are making an effort. You had stated that You had not received any paper work due to the repossession of Your vehicle. I have mailed out a certified letter to the address You had provided me with at the time of purchasing Your vehicle. I do have the Certified mail receipt. You had written in Your complaint that We had refused You access to Your belongings. This is not true, I had e-mailed You June 5th 2015 letting You know that You are more than welcome to stop by our body shop and pick up Your belongings. I will be sending all copies of our-e-mails, customer's general activity customers transaction history, certified mail receipt, rights of repossession and our 10 day letter to Revdex.com. All of this will show that I truly did try to do my best to work with You as much as possible. Desired Settlement:You are more than welcome to make partial payments before I am able to release the vehicle back to You. I will have the owner try to give You a call once more. You are more than welcome once again to get Your personal possessions out of the vehicle. Larissa  V.
